  1. And that is NOT always the case! I know the one asking and she/we live in Cherokee County...Hence no phone book...she/we use Alltel who also provides directory assistance but when you dial 411 for information they do not have a listing...hence no phone number...when you look it up on realyellowpages.com they still have the old addy listed...hence NO LUCK finding them...so the next step was to use friendly paulding.com since it was a paulding county business...hence asking if anybody might know anything about where they might have moved...Not everybody on pcom lives in paulding, some live in New York, Florida, Alabama, etc...hence they ask questions about paulding on pcom...But sorry for appearing "lazy"...we will just keep our lazy butts and $$$ over here in Cherokee County.

WHATEVER -- Yeah stay in Cherokee!!!!!!!!

  2. First of all what is the definition of wild taste? It tastes like venison -- no it doesn't taste like beef cause it's not beef -- chicken doesn't taste like beef cause it's not beef -- Why would you expect it to taste like beef?

It's MUCH MUCH better for you that beef -- if the processor does it right there should be no fat to drain --

We process our own and don't own a grinder (darn it) so we only get roasts, stew meat, tenderloin etc. -- But it's ALL GOOD!!!!!!!!

  3. This is where I take my kids, but I think she was hoping for something a little closer. I love Dr Corley also.

We go there too -- I was a Dr. Wyatt patient as a child and he was in this practice till he retired in Sept 2004 --- Dr. Saade took his place -- I LOVE DR. SAADE --

I WON'T SEE DR. CORLEY -- She really upset me one time -- so I won't go back to see her --

  4. I tape Days and watch it in the evening if I have time. Sometimes I'll go a week or two and not see it, but when I finally do get around to watching it's still the same stuff happening. I can't totally break the addiction, though. :p

I tape it too -- so if I can't watch it at 1pm I can later in the day and FF thru the commercials -- and the story lines that STINK!!!!

  5. It's been bad for a long time. I remember a few years back comparing it to Cumberland Mall. It's not just Douglas County though, we didn't have entire restaurants full of people getting held up at gun point or gang fights at school a few years ago.

    Everyone wonders why it's here?

It's because all the thugs and lowlifes from Cobb, Fulton, Dekalb, Clayton and every other undesirable metro county are moving here. For what? Their half acre 2300 square foot split level house for 140K "in the country".

Keep building em, it'll get better! LOL

Us Cobb people moved out here because COBB was getting that way!!!!!!!!

I resent your comment!!!! Uhhhh Douglasville is known as GODLESSVILLE by the Cobb Police!!!!!!!!

  6. I friend of mine needs some help -- Can you help her?

Hello all... I have been mobilized and am headed to Iraq. I have two beagles that need a temporary home until I return (in early October 2007). Wallace is almost 9 years old, and Olive is almost 7. Both are super sweet, loving dogs who are well adjusted to children and other dogs, but probably not cats. Although a beagle, Wallace rarely makes any noise; Olive gets excited when she sees other dogs or catches a scent, but she calms down quickly. I'd like to keep them together - this deployment will be hard for them as they are not used to being away for me and my daughter for extended periods. Any assistance anyone can provide would greatly appreciated! I live in the DC area, but my parents are still in marietta so I can get the dogs to Georgia. Please reach out to your friends, colleagues, etc... i really don't want to have to give them away permanently, but if i can't find a temporary home i'll have to. please email me at tlc.snell@gmail.com if you are able to help or know of someone who can. again, thanks for the assistance... much appreciated.

What are fired potatoes? Did they do something wrong?

We were going to have venison roast, rice, and blackeye peas -- but something happened to the roast and it turned out yucky so hubby is gone to store to get stuff to make tacos!!!

  9. My MIL always said to my 9 yo son "there's my little boo boo" So when he started talkig he called her Boo Boo and now all the grandkids do -- Her baby sister (18 yrs. younger than her) just had a baby in Feb. and he is going to call my MIL Aunt Boo -- Cute huh?

My mom passed when my 9 yo was 2 yo -- I wanted him to call her Granmomma -- but it came out moomomma and then got shortened to Moo Moo -- We still refer to her as Moo Moo --

So ours are Boo Boo and Moo Moo -- Funny huh???
