I know you mean well...And I'm not trying to start anything. But cops don't shoot to kill. They shoot to stop the threat. Unfortunetly with some of the bad press on law enforcement lately people don't need to think that cops shoot to kill. Only to stop the threat. Obvioulsy and rightfully so, this threat got stopped!.

well one of the suspects is in SERIOUS condition -- he was shot in the face -- this may sound ugly but he got what he deserved!!!!

My hubby works for Cobb County Fleet Management and he told me the officers name -- he use to work for Cobb -- I won't publish it until the news media does -- but my hubby did say the officer wasn't seriously hurt just banged and bruised up -- as for the suspect the cops my hubby spoke to says he won't make it to jail -- he will meet his maker instead -- That is what happens when you start shooting at people -- espeically cops -- they shoot to kill!!!!!!!
Just keep this officer in your prayers -- I am sure he is going thru a lot mentally -- especially if the suspect dies --

I'm curious as to why such different breeds. The Fiest is a small short hair dog while the Spaniel is a larger, long hair dog. Both have very different personalities too.
Hubby wants a Fiest for hunting and a Springer for a family dog -- we will probably end up with both!!!!!!

Rape Suspected at Ex-Falcons's Home of Patrick Kerney
Atlanta Police officials have confirmed for 11Alive News that they are investigating an alleged rape at the home of former Atlanta Falcons defensive end Patrick Kerney.
Kerney, who recently signed a free agent deal with the Seattle Seahawks, still owns a home in Buckhead. He has not been named as a suspect in the case, which allegedly took place early Sunday.
The woman said she accepted a ride from a bar from three men who took her and a friend to Kerney's home, where she was invited inside for drinks. She said she fell asleep and awoke to find a man raping her. She said she ran to the bathroom with a friend and the men fled.
In a statement issued Monday, Kerney said an assault had happened at this house while he was asleep. But he said he could not comment further "out of respect for my friend who was assaulted and the police officers who are diligently working to apprehend the offenders."
Earlier this month, Kerney signed a six-year, $39.5 million contract with the Seahawks after spending his first eight seasons with the Falcons.
