  1. I agree with the above poster...get a cat! We had them from time to time when the weather changes and we got a kitten at PHS in November (the last time I saw one) and Presto! No more mice...or bugs or lizards or anything else that moves! Tabatha is an excellent mouse hunter! ;)

Hubby says no pets -- well whats a mouse? Maybe now I can talk him into one!!!

  2. It doesn't have to be "people food", but the rodents (there's never just one) are eating something there. Do you have grass seed? How about old Halloween candy? Peanuts? A bird (mice/rats love seeds, grains and nuts)? A "tight house"? There's a chance that you have neighbors who have the problem and the mouse that you saw was one of a pair looking to nest at your place, while being able to run next door for groceries. They can squeeze into any small crevice to find food and to nest. Have you checked where you have your garbage waiting for pickup? You'll want to set a trap there, for sure.

Whatcha going to bait the traps with?

    Good luck with them!

Who knows how the bugger got in here but I want him OUT! I like the sticky traps cause I can just toss them outside till hubby gets home --

THANKS for all your "help" let's just hope he is gone by tonight!!!!!!!

  3. Set traps, put out poison, use the sticky traps, sure. But remove their food source. Remember the Taco Bell that had rats? The rats weren't invading the jewelry store or the Sunglass Hut. Got a dog? Keep its dish on the floor? There's a reason that you have had mice in different houses. It's not related to the age of the house, but to where rodents are allowed to access food.

no dog -- I don't leave food out -- just thought this house was tighter than the old one -- since it's BRAND new -- well 1 year old -- but I will be setting traps later today -- agggghhh -- still freaking!!!!!!!!

  4. I have a brand new home and I thought I left the dang mice at the old house -- but I saw one in my kitchen this morning -- AAAACCCCCCKKKKKKK I hate mice!!!!!!!!!! Hubby has already left for work and I have no traps -- Going to get some when I got the grocery store today -- but aggggggghhhhh now I don't want to go back into the kitchen --

This is soooooooo awesome -- There are lots of places out there who will donate stuff -- Try Town Center at Cobb they gave my son's baseball team $500 - - OfficeMax on 41 is great about helping with NonProfs getting free printing etc.

I have a mobile home on my property that I am trying to give away for free. I have a mover that has already looked at the home and knows what it will take to move it. I will also consider giving the home away for scrap if I can make a deal to have it gone by the end of the month. One way or another I need it gone by the end of the month!!! Its A 1973 model, 1300sq feet, 45x24 double wide home. It has newer roof that will have to be removed bfore the home can be relocated. The original roof is still intact under the new roof. I will let all the apliances go with the home includeing the refigerator. If you want it for scrap you must promise to take it all!! I will not give parts of it Away!!!!! It is all or nothing. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!! The home is in fair condition and could be made nice if someone were to invest some time and money in it. I am ready to break ground on a new home on this lot so this one has to go.
