Most computers do not handle the standby that well. Best thing to do is to either shut it down or at least let the screensaver come up.
When you put a computer in standby it takes a snapshot of the current state of the computer ( what applications you were using) and stores them in the memory. When you start the computer it is resetting the state of the computer to what was last saved. hence the longer load times.
ok i understand THANKS!!!!!!!!!

The only reason I charge $1 is to cover the cost of my stamp and the renewal fee -- I didn't think $1 was much to charge -- some places charge a whole lot more than that!!!

What Makes a Mother
I thought of you and closed my eyes And prayed to God today.
I asked what makes a Mother And I know I heard him say.
A Mother has a baby This we know is true.
But God can you be a Mother When your baby's not with you?
Yes, you can He replied With confidence in His voice I give many women babies When they leave is not their choice.
Some I send for a lifetime And others for a day.
And some I send to feel your womb But there's no need to stay.
I just don't understand this, God I want my baby here He took a breath and cleared His throat And then I saw a tear.
I wish I could show you What your child is doing today.
If you could see your child smile With other children and say
"We go to earth to learn our lessons Of love and life and fear.
My Mommy loved me oh so much I got to come straight here.
I feel so lucky to have a Mom Who had so much love for me,
I learned my lesson very quickly My mommy set me free.
I miss my Mommy oh so much But I will visit her each day.
When she goes to sleep On her pillow's where I will lay.
I will stroke her hair and kiss her cheek And whisper in her ear. Mommy don't be sad today I'm your baby and I'm here."
So you see my dear sweet one Your children are ok
Your babies are here in My home And this is where they'll stay. They'll wait for you with Me Until your lesson is through.
And on the day that you come home They'll be at the gates for you.
So now you see what makes a Mother It's the feeling in your heart.
It's the love you had so much of Right from the very start.
Though some on earth may not realize you are a Mother to more than one,
They'll be up here with Me one day and there they'll see your precious son.

A girl I was talking to Sunday was talking about him, but I don't think I ever knew him. I think she might have dated him some in the 90's from what I gather. next time I talk to her I will ask her if she knows where he is.Wonder who that was? I dated him during the late 80's until I graduated in 1990 -- Hmmmmmmmm
What age would he and his sister be?His sister passed away she would be my age -- 35 and he is about 32 or so --

Someone can't spare $10 for a party CD? If every parent chipped in a little it would be done.
Otherwise sorry, I don't have any luau music myself! Maybe someone on here does. Good luck!
We have already asked for so much money this year -- We just collected $10 from each child for the rest of the party supplies and teacher gift -- we didn't want to have to purchase anything that we wouldn't use again -- -- It was just a question -- geez -- Thanks anyways -- I did find that the Cobb Lib. has some CD's so I will just go there --

We don't have the budget for it -- we only collected for a certain amount to be spent -- I just thought someone might have some things I could borrow!!!

They tell us to watch for cycles -- they think they own the road!!!!!!
