  1. I HAVE THE SKETCH OF THIS IDIOT -- PM ME YOUR EMAIL IF YOU WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!

The Acworth Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is looking into a report of an attempted child abduction that occurred at the Acworth Sports Complex on

    South Main Street

on Saturday evening June 16th around 8:30 PM.

An eight year old boy was playing alone near a wood line that separate the baseball fields from the football fields. The youth stated that a man came up from behind and attempted to lead him into the woods. The boy was able to get free and report the incident to his parents. The police were notified and an area search did not yield any evidence.

The child described the suspect as a white male, approximately 30 years old, 5-8 to 5-10, medium build, short dark hair, with dark eyes and a mustache. He was wearing a black t-shirt, dark colored shorts and white Nike tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about this incident or the suspect is asked to contact the Acworth Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, Det. Kirkley at 770-974-3111 or 678-801-4068.

I heard this to and tried to find some more about it!!!

  5. From the Paulding SO Officer:

Kinda true. An arrest was made but the details in the email and what actually happened don't match. Lt Shaw from Crimes Against Children is going to call Pubby later and give a press release. As far as the lack of communication with in the So its because Crimes Against Children's offfice is in downtown Dallas not the SO. Its done that way on purpose to provide victims with as much privacy as possible.

  6. There is a Paulding SO officer on here that I know -- I have emailed that person to see if they know anything -- I will post as soon as I know something --

This is true, I called the SO and verified it, I have the case number too. The man was in custody as of yesterday afternoon. When I initially called the SO they told me that they knew nothing about it. I then called the crimes against children office and they confirmed. I called the SO back to tell them what I had just found out and then they looked for the case and actually found it. So much for communication.

Could you provide us with the case number so we can get a copy of the report?

  7. I went to Walmart on Dallas Hwy yesterday and got gas for $2.90 -- it would of been $2.87 if I had of wanted to go into the store and put money on a shopping card but didn't want to drag a 2 yo into Walmart --

  8. I just got this AGAIN with new info --

    Hey Guys!

I just wanted to let you all know, that my friend Joy call the police department about this. They said that you could come get a copy of the police report or she could give me the case number. She also told her that the report states "simple batery" and he was arrested.

I guess we can never be too safe when it comes to our children.

  9. It's a Jon Boat -- just for fishing -- we still have to get seats and a trolling motor and register it before we can go out on the lake -- I will be looking for a sitter when we go since I don't want to chance taking a 2 1/2 year old out -- no thanks!

  10. My mom decided yesterday that it needed to rain this weekend. Keep in mind the woman doesn't own a tv, and is clueless about weather reports. As a matter of fact, she always calls me to see if a storm is coming because my knees hurt really bad when there is...lol. Anyway, today she watered the grass, washed all the cars, and painted the trim on the interior of the house. It didn't even need to be painted, she just 'knew' that if she did it, it would rain 'so the paint wouldn't dry'. I've always thought my mom was a little cukoo...and I still think she is...but wouldn't you know she called me earlier laughing saying 'see, it worked!'

Come on now don't talk about Ang like that -- Just kidding --
