If you really want to fix it .First i would get the staples out. Next i would take the particle board off. Go to Home Depot and have them cut me a new board the same size. Drill new screw holes. Then i would put glue on the bottom of board and screw it back on..Clamp it and let it dry before making new screw holes on the end.Then i would drill new screw holes and put glue on the end of board .Then put it back together and clap untill dry. Good luck.That should fix it and make it last a long time.

Well as for me.If they cared enough to invite me to there shower.I would send a gift even if i couldn't make it. I also would give them a wedding gift. .
