Macland Road at Powder Creek at the Cobb / Paulding line is closed indefinitely, per a friend who lives there. Seems to be some fear of the road collapsing, so they have to build a levy...no idea how long that is supposed to take.

I live on high ground, my yard isn't even flooded...but I just noticed that the padding under the carpet by the back door is soaked, and part of the baseboard feels wet. I know I am in GREAT shape compared to so many, but I am NOT happy

Cobb dismissed middle schools at 1:15. Elementary & high school at normal times....and the police in Austell have informed the campus police that if they can't get the students dispersed by 4:00, they aren't going anywhere...

These are my only 2 routes to work, just wondering if they are open... Cobb didn't close schools, please pray for all of us who have to get out in this mess, especially our students...

Why on earth would these kids be out and about this time of night even if it weren't raining buckets & lightning all over the place?

To the person who said they won't close Paulding unless Cobb closes first - well, as of now, Moon Rd., Elliott Rd., Florence Rd., Poplar Springs Rd., and Macland Rd. are closed, as well as 278 past Elliott Rd. I hear Macland Rd is pretty deep in spots, as well....
