  1. W-T-F?? Are you kidding me? I have no words. Did FB actually initiate this challange or was it the fools on FB? And no mater who issued the challenge, you don't have the sense not to do it and then your mother films it???? I could slap this woman myself. Twice.
  2. The throngs and throngs of people who buy his tripe scare me much more than he does. Are people really that stupid? Oh wait........they must be, he's making a mint and still on the radio.
  3. I actually got this one right. I'm not the best in math, but one thing I do know is to never look at a problem that long as one single problem. Break it down into steps, one by one, then do the adding, subtracting, division, etc., in parts. Believe me, if I can break it down and get that answer, just about anyone can. Good luck. 6th grade math almost killed us last year and by the way, I could do NONE of it.  I swear, you always make me laugh!! Thank you!
  4. W-H-A-T IS HAPPENING?!?!??!?! Robin Williams yesterday and Miss Bacall today?? The world really is a little dimmer. RIP mam.
  5. I had a boyfriend many moons ago who was getting beat up by a neighborhood girl when they were 5 or 6. Finally his dad told him one day that if he came home crying one more time because she had hit him, he was going to get a spanking for not taking up for himself. Well, a 5 year old mind doesn't always work like we want it to and he caught her unawares, back turned and he hit her in the head with a stick. Guess who got a whippin' that aftenoon?
  6. (No clue what happened in that first post).
  7. That's right. My son-in-law grew up in sprint car racing and that was the first thing he said when he saw the video.
  8. I think the new apts are on the road that runs right behind Aldi that ends up in front of the theater and runs into Metromont. There are several new buildings going up next to the professional buildings on the same road.
  9. Only they shouldn't be saved in the end. Dealing with an autistic child everyday isn't easy, especially as they get into puberty. But damn, it has never crossed our minds to lock ours in a room with no food, clothing and making her live in her own filth. you know better as an adult, this poor child never had a chance, at least she does now...........hopefully.
  10. I have to wonder when you have people who are so creative and talented, if their heads are NEVER quiet and death is the only thing that gives them peace? There are too many of these same stories with stars alive and dead too young, not to have some ring of truth to it. We seem to see it over and over again, but for an icon like Robin Williams not to realize the love the entire world had for him and the contributions he made to more people that will ever be counted, his journey must have been a true He!! for him. I can't imagine. And to think that he had access to any and every possible form of
  11. You are correct, it wasn't clear and being that they are about a mile apart, it's a valid question.
  12. Autistic teen is starved and abused. At least the step monster dropped her off at a hospital. AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!        http://www.ajc.com/news/news/mother-and-stepfather-charged-in-abuse-of-gwinnett/ngzPs/
  13. Yonder will never go away as long as I'm alive! I know you love that!!
  14. How about this one....who knows what this one is? Pertineer?????????? I grew up in Hickory Flat, GA and around those parts when you said, 'Where is so and so'? You're answer would more often than not be, 'Oh you know, it's down the road a piece pertineer (pretty near) the church'.
  15. He'd been racing since he was 7 years old? And if that's true, you're right, he should have known better. A horrible, horrible event.
  16. I was glad to see your post, I hope all is well.
  17. Yeeeea..........neither of your first 2 choices!
  18. He is and it's so sad that death was his answer.
