  1. We have lots of guns and the only time one has been discharged on our property was to shoot the bird that was damaging our siding. Hubby shot it with rat shot, which if fired at a human would probably bounce off. But owning a gun doesn't equal having a brain and using it responsibly.
  2. I'm not bullying anyone and I never have. You're wrong. IMO.
  3. I don't think so, I can recognize an ignorant comment when I read one. That is a pretty broad brush they are painting with and to say that going to a bar equals getting beat up in a fight is ridiculous. One has nothing to do with another regardless what kind of experience they've had. If you go to a bar, expect to be beaten to a pulp?!?! That's just stupid thinking. With a whopping 61 post during all that time. And MY OPINION was that it was an ignorant comment. So, by your own words, you should have no problem with it.
  4. Seriously?!?! Because it's not the truth. Going to a bar is in no way synonymous with almost killing a kid because you're a redneck thug.
  5. THANK YOU, EXACTLY!!!! Both my girls arrived into adulthood practically unscathed because I was the crazy parent who was always involved. But because of that, my house was always filled with teens, but I knew where they were and what they were doing. I'm the Mom, that's my job.
  6. You read my mind. My girls NEVER went to parties anywhere but at MY own house and you can bet that there were no shinannigans going on because Hubby and I were right in the middle of whatever was going on. Unfortunately, I don't think those are popular questions in this kind of situation. The kids who did this are evil and IMO will never amount to anything other than what they've already proven they are........rapists, cowards, thugs and just simply evil and I'm sorry, but they are wasting perfectly air. But a little parental supervision can go a long way to help prevent this kind from ha
  7. This may apply. O.C.G.A. § 16-11-103 Discharge of gun or pistol near public highway or street A person is guilty of a misdemeanor when, without legal justification, he discharges a gun or pistol on or within 50 yards of a public highway or street.
  8. .........they're riding 4 wheelers on other peoples property and shooting at neighbor kids.
  9. And there lies the HUGE difference. You can't discharge a firearm willy, nilly in a subdivision whether it's your property or not.
  10. I can't imagine treating a dog like this, much less a human being. They need to stay UNDER the jail. How proud and manly they must all feel, 3 on 1. What a bunch of violent d!cks.
  11. Something is definitely not right about this.
  12. Why is it that so many people with 4 wheelers and dirt bikes think they can ride where ever they please, even on other peoples property? 2 weeks ago there were several teens riding dirt bikes and 4 wheelers into our cul-de-sac and then racing through front yards to turn around, including ours. We nipped that in the bud real quick. I don't care if you have wheels under your a$$ and have no place to ride, stay out of my yard. This post isn't directed at the OP in any way, just an observation.
  13. If there was a nut shooting at kids in my neighborhood, you can bet they wouldn't be outside. AT ALL. EVER.
  14. I agree. His property or not, you can't discharge a firearm at kids playing in their own yard. He ACTUALLY fired his weapon at kids and nothing happened to him? I don't know, I find this hard to believe.
  15. That could be one of the most ignorant comments ever posted on this board.
  16. Someone fired a shotgun at little kids playing in their own yard and didn't get arrested? I think I must not understand something. I'm also not sure it's a good idea to make threats on a public message board for fear of getting into trouble yourself.
  17. That's still better than filling it 4 inches for an entire load of clothes. I wonder if making it fill all the way will void the warranty? HHMMMMMMM, I'll have Hubby look at it. Thanks!!!! OMG, I just watched the video, that's cool. I wonder how how figured that out?
  18. Right! I'm too old school I guess. Hubby told a dishwasher salesman last week that I still use an abacus to add and subtract. Yea.......he's real funny! You're sweet!!
  19. The sad part is, is that now that I have a machine that works like I think it should, I get giddy when it's time to do laundry. That's just not normal!!!
  20. Oh the jooooy!!!!!! I did 6 loads this morning from start to finish, including putting them up in about 4 hours. And I'll have another 6 by Thursday. But I'm also doing sheets, comforters and rugs.
  21. I would do a free ad for these people, I swear.
  22. But the tub fills up with water and agitates, as opposed to 'sensing' how much it thinks I needs and only using that much with no agitation. I want to be in charge of how much water I use, not my machine.
