I agree, but when is it someone elses turn to step up and do something? It's a bad situation all the way around.

Is there an actual studio? Where is it?

This may be controversial, but here it is anyway.

OMG....ME TOO!! That's funny!!!!!! -
I knooow, but I don't buy the 'no boots on the ground' idea. I just don't. It will escalate and escalate, more and more excuses will be made and here we go, it starts all over again. I see the struggles our servicemen are having and our focus needs to be there, it's getting as bad as Vietnam when we abandoned the people who came home from a place we should never have gone. And you know that you and I have always been in the same boat where Obama is concerned and I don't plan to jump ship just yet, but I'm having a real hard time with this.

I watched it, it was short and to the point. I'm going out on a limb here, but here goes.......I have supported this man from the beginning, I've defended him, voted for him, etc. But he's lost me on this one. He hit the nail on the head when he said,'We are not the world police', then he added the 'but' and I went deaf again. We don't belong in Syria. There are servicemen and women coming home from a war we didn't belong in in the first place, who are homeless, have no job with no prospects and he wants to get involved in another debacle in another foreign country? No, I'm not OK with th

Execution delayed so politician can attend fundraiser
dawneykids replied to lucky64's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Are we forgetting the families of the victims here? Some people makes plans to travel to these things to see the person responsible for their loved ones death receive their punishment. Time taken off from work, hotel plans, this delay added insult to injury and it's wrong on every level. -
I can't even imagine how traffic could be worse in DC. Add 2 million bikes, regardless of their good intentions and I'm glad I'm not going to be anywhere near there.

Grown up daughter having her tonsils out.........
dawneykids replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Is your sister my daughter??? This is one of my problems with her drama, I have an ulcer and feel bad a lot (most)of the time. If I eat something that doesn't agree with me, I puke. My stomach hurts practically all the time, I'm anemic because red meat is completely off limits. That's been everyday for about 8 months. So when she has a cold or a hangnail (), and she's whining and complaining, it makes me crazy! -

Don't love the stooges. -
I think they're just pi$$y because an 'old' woman did what they can't do or are too afraid to try.

Sounds good, I'll let you know when we can come together.

My daughter is on board, she can crochet really well.

Re unsolicited calls from a foreign country
dawneykids replied to juleebella's topic in RECENT TOPICS
That's one reason I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize. If they really need me, they can leave a message and I'll call them back. I also understand to foreign country frustration! -
That's what I thought but didn't want to post because I wasn't sure. So very sad.

Meteor lights up skies across Georgia, Alabama
dawneykids replied to lucky64's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Isn't is wonderful to be the age that we are and something can still make us giddy? It's just so much bigger than us and I wonder how many times it happens and we miss it? I'm you got to have this first!!!!!! -
Meteor lights up skies across Georgia, Alabama

When middleschooler was about 2 months old, there was a meteor shower and since he WOULDN'T sleep, my youngest daughter, 14 at the time, me and the baby, bundled up at 4am and sat outside to watch it. It was really a sight to behold. -
Anyone else think the turtle ad is inappropriate?
dawneykids replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
AAAAHHHHH, but it achieved it's objective because we're talking about it and we remember it. I NEVER remember commercials, so I guess it worked. -
Does the tongue think have anything to do with the twerking thing? Or they just two separate stupid looking things?

On the news just now, her critics claim she had to have swam upwards of 6MPH at times and they say that's not possible. I think she was lucky with the gulfstream and it helped push her along. She had 4 boats and more than 40 people with her, can that many people be in on the scandal??? I don't think so. Once again, sour grapes is what I'm going with.

I love her, but she's the WORST sick person on the planet. She cries and whines, OMG........she's awful. And I know from experience with 2 other adults having their tonsils out, it's much worse on an older person. I hate it for her, but I think I hate it for me/her family worse!! I'm horrible I know!!

My family loves this commercial, not including me. 'What the FAST'? You're FASTING kidding me'? Maybe not inappropriate, but certainly not in the best of taste. -
That's my question too.
-
I have no clue, but it seems that there's camera footage of every stroke she took so it wouldn't be that hard to figure it out. I'm thinkin' sour grapes.

That's true. I think he's guilty, but I wasn't in the jury so I have no problem with their decision. As we all know, you can believe with all of your heart that someone is guilty and if there's no evidence to support your belief, you have to vote not guilty or at least that's what a good juror would do. A couple of the jurors even said they believed he was guilty, but the state didn't prove it so they had no choice. That's a hard place to be, I'm glad it wasn't me having to make the decision.
