Zion Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Wheeler and Rev. Todd Tibbitts will officiate. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Elrod's family will receive friends on Thursday, January 14, 2010, 4:00-9:00 P.M. and Friday 11:00 A.M.-1:15 P.M. Mr. Elrod is survived by: Daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny (Malinda) Rowell of Temple, Ga. and Rev. and Mrs. Mike (Leila) Wheeler of Dallas, Ga.; Sons, Mr. and Mrs. Sam (Danita) Elrod of Rockmart, Ga. and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie (Lori) Elrod of Hiram, Ga.; 10 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Mrs. Helen Stewart of Rome, Ga.; Brother, Mr. and Mrs. Haden (Millie) Elrod of Hiram, Ga.; Many Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Elrod was preceded in death by: Wife, Mrs. Margaret Lorine Elrod; Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Lester (Malinda Leoma White) Elrod; Sisters, Mrs. Ruby Baldwin, Mrs. Lucille Baldwin, Mrs. Dollie Brown, Mrs. Hoyle Robinson, Mrs. Grace Garner, Mrs. Bessie Clark, Mrs. Dot Sosebee; Brothers, Mr. Burt Elrod and Mr. Roscoe Elrod.
