  6. My son has been wearing contact lenses (Air Optic Night & Day Aqua) now for about 4 years. We have always re-ordered from the Optometrist. I called today to re-order and they were a lot more expensive ($20-$30 a box) than what I find on the web. Questions is... has anyone ordered Contact Lenses off the web and how was your experience? Thanks

  8. For what it worth... been using cast iron for many years. Use it every month... usually couple times a month. I use a dutch oven, griddle and skillet. Once they have been seasoned... if for some reason food has stuck, I use a plastic pad (similar to a brillo pad) to remove the food. Then I wash with hot water, dry and then coat it with light coat of vegetable oil and put it away. Never use soap. Every now and then after cooking, I will clean as usual and but in the oven at 380 for about a hour and let it cool. Cast iron really is awesome once it is seasoned...

(It is okay to use soap this time because you are preparing to re-season the cookware). * Rinse and dry completely. * Apply a very thin, even coating of MELTED solid vegetable shortening (or cooking oil of your choice) to the cookware inside and out. Too much oil will result in a s

  13. Proposed Georgia legislation would require a sales tax on Popcorn fundraisers for Cub - Boy Scouts and on Cookies for Girl Scouts. This significant financial impact would take money directly from each boy's efforts to go to camp and pay for their Scouting activities. House Bill 385 is a part of the 2010 Special Council on Tax Reform eliminating various nonprofit sales and use tax exemptions, targeting popcorn and cookie fundraisers by the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. The consequences of this legislation: * Requiring our young Scouts to collect sales tax is not fair and not fea
