I have a friend who is a flight attendant and she took this picture on her flight into ATL from Memphis. Even more ominous from above! (hopefully you can see the pic)

Those jars are really cool looking! Never thought of doing that, but if anyone is interested in trying it out, I have around 20 or so empty & clean candle jars (like the ones the large Yankee Candles come in) that I was going to give away at my garage sale. I'd been saving them to do something (who knows what) with them.

That's wonderful that you were able to get the framing/roofing materials so cheap -- couldn't have built even a plastic one for that price! I'm sure you guys will enjoy the heck out of it, and I'm glad the windows I had garaged for so long are finally being used for their intended purpose. Maybe you will inspire others to keep old windows out of the landfills and build their own.

You can get a 40 lb bag of black oil sunflower seeds at Tractor Supply for $14.99. That's the best deal we've found and the birds love 'em!

Do you also remove tint from windows? If so, could you pm me with an estimate? Mine is coming off and it looks terrible.
