  1. What ever you do, don't give in to them. If they want something they'll have to work and earn it..just as you probably do to support yourself, make them have to stand on their own two feet. Don't let him see you breaking, cause then they know they have you right where they want you. You have to be strong, cause if you give in to them...then you are enabling them.
  2. I understand your thoughts on this topic completely. I went through the same thing. It is hard, you cry, you beg and no avail to get them to change their ways. I had to learn to seperate myself from my child. I love my child very very much, but I can't stand by and watch them destroy themselves, take things from me and treat me poorly. I can only pray and hope that one day they will wake up and realize what they are doing to themselves and all that loves him. I wish you the best of luck..If you should need to talk with someone that is are has gone through it..then hit me up anytime.
  3. I tried to get help for my husband he was completely bedridden...and I was being treated for an heart problem. They wouldn't help us at all.
  4. I'm unable to get my scan working! On the Paulding site.
  5. I totally agree with you on that comment. The companies should allow customers to pick what channels they want to watch and charge you for those. You pay a lot of money for channels you don't watch at least that is the way it is with me. I've had direct, dish and cable, to me they are all the same, they know how to get you.
  6. I saw this wreck i i was turning out of austin Bridge and all i saw was smoke every where, I hope the guy I saw laying on the ground is ok. Prayers for all involved

  9. Thank you for the information, but it didn't answer my question. The information doesn't tell much about the parks themselves except lets you know there is place for picnics, baseball and some places have tennis, but I need more information than that.
  10. I would like to get some feed back from other PCs to find out about the parks in Paulding. What all does the different parks have to offer? What is there to do at the parks when it comes to family outings? Which park do you find that has more to offer for different ages and activites?

  14. Someone thought it would be funny to torcher and burn a lil kitten, On Halloween that is so mean. I think if a person could do something like that to an animal, then they have some serious problems, and need to be put somewhere before they decide their next step is to try and hurt other living things. This makes me sick!!!

  18. I was just reading all the comments about the friendship bread. I was given a starter bag back in the late 80's, it was absolutely wonderful. Hmmm yummy! It didn't take me long to realize that you can make your own starter bags. The thing is, just mix up all your ingredients without the starter bag. Remember one key thing, let your mix sit for a while to ferment. Once it has sat for a while in your bags pour ingredients in your bread pans as usual, save out a cup full, for your next batch. I tried it and it works, there is no favor loss, it is great. So as I said get the recipe and m
  19. Any of you PC's going to the carnival at Grey Stone today in Douglasville? Have any of you been to one in past years? Just wondering, cause I was considering going myself today to find out what it is all about. Wow, Grey Stone must be making lots of extra money off all us customers to put on a big event like this plus give away prizes, hmmmm, grand prize a new pickup truck. It is all free from what I understand, if your a Greystone power member. Who knows maybe I'll see some of you there. lol

  23. Iwould like to nominate a young lady by the name of Carrie. She is a very sweet, kind, caring and understanding person. She is a hard working individual for works for Papa's Johns. I know many Paulding county people have met her, if they have order a pizza, she may have delivered it to your home. You could always count on her to greet you with a smile and to be very helpful to you as a customer are other associates. I have never heard anyone say one unkind thing about her, out of all the years I've kno
  24. I to lost a child a few years ago. He is still in my everyday thoughts. You never get over it. I am blessed that I got to spend 20 years with him. It was a sudden death, he was killed at the hands of another. It has been hard, no sooner dealing with their death then I am faced with another one my husband. He suffered a long term illness. Then within months of that, I am again faced with another one my mom. She was my best friend, my sister and my idiol. She was my strength, she was my shoulder and the one that helped me through all my difficult times. Now I must go on along. I know
