  1. Yet, you would have no problem supporting Hillary.
  2. Isn't it interesting how a very vocal minority can "win" with a small voter turnout and then present themselves as representing the wishes of the entire populace?
  3. Thad, that was a fascinating story. Thanks for sharing it.
  4. That's Komrade Kain's modus operandi. Ridiculous. Never let the facts or the law get in the way of a good rumor. Re: Oblabber's "birth certificate", the hospital in Hawaii in which he was allegedly born changed its' name several years after the alleged birth day. But the certificate released had the NEW name of the hospital. Facts are pesky things, to quote MrsHoward.
  5. The same place as Obama's birth certificate. And Hillary's speech scripts. And Bernie's discharge papers from the insane asylum.
  6. And, those appointees have terms in office. Meaning that they are accountable to the bodies that appoint them. The PCAA has 3 seats that are held by elected officials. (BOC Chair, and 2 Mayors) They would be expressing the "will of the people". The Chamber President is on the PCAA. Expressing the "will of the business community" The other citizens/members of the Board are individually approachable by the general public to hear questions and input over issues. They all have email addresses.
  7. According to the info I have, there was another Voice mail left on his cellphone within 30 minutes after the PCAA board meeting. The gist of it was "go check the PCAA minutes. Things happened at this morning's meeting that you need to know about." I'd enjoy that. Maybe early next week?
  8. That's hilarious. For someone who is Chip Lake's "mouthpiece" for the Delta sponsored "anti's", you make lies and deception a campaign issue? You wouldn't know the truth if it bit you on your fat butt.
  9. So, does this mean you are gonna vote for Dave? At least his positions on issues are based on his principles, not on saying anything to get a vote.
  10. And how do you think the CAVEers got in power? Tell a lie long enough and ignore the facts and indoctrinate the low-information voters. And as soon as Richland Creek begins filling with water, all the Chicken World 4 will be bragging about how it was their project.
  11. So many folks "know" so much about all this that is just NOT true. First, the votes from the citizens were not IF there should be an airport, just whether there should have been a bond issue to pay for the land. Despite several people claiming they "brought it to a vote", all they did was comply with existing law about a bond issue by the County. The "secret" deal you are all wound up about is just not factual. The Commission created the PCAA to act as an independent authority/agency within the county. The County Chairman has one vote on the PCAA, as do the mayors of Dal
  12. Were you talking about someone with a degree in History from some small second-rate university in Arkansas?
  13. I do not disagree with you that infrastructure is a paramount concern. Getting to I-75 or I-20 is awful. And if they started TODAY to build the roads, neither of us would live long enough to see them operational. I'm not sure how you would propose to pay for these highways. Since the tax burden is already 76% on the shoulders of us residential property owners, how much more do you think we can handle? That is, without some industrial development.
  14. Yes, sir. You have the Chicken World 4's business development plan NAILED!!!! No way in Hell would we EVER want to do anything that would shift some of the tax burden off of the backs of the homeowners and create some jobs beyond "you want fries with that?" status. /sarcasm
  15. You been smoking some of Whitey's weed, ain'tcha? Do you REALLY think Dave wants to turn Paulding into a "crime ridden slum" ? I know you. I have been to your home. I know you aren't that gullible or stupid to actually believe something like that. He's lived here for 35 years or so, his children live here. He's vested in this community. He cares.
  16. Well, "One" of them has a degree in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt, and a Masters' from West Florida U. If Leggett should happen to get elected, Paulding County will be one of the only counties in the state where none of the commission has a degree from an accredited university.
  17. Maybe you should review your emails/PM's that you sent to me after I dared complain publicly about the debacle at Paulding Meadows a few years ago. Do you remember saying to me "I'll personally see to it that you NEVER participate in Paulding Meadows again"? As if. Dave Carmichael's record doesn't need "defending". Graduated with honors from Vandy. Retired with 30 years of SERVICE in the USMC as a Colonel. Married for over 40 years to a lovely woman with 4 successful children and 13 grandkids. Led the State Aviation Department, in charge of multiple aircraft. Led battalions
  18. How did that Kool-Aid taste? Nobody with a lick of economic sense would have ever thought this market would support anything more than a small regional carrier with 50 passenger aircraft. All the fiction damn lies about 737's and Airbus 320's were just told to feed the fears of low-information voters and capitalized on by the Chicken World 4 and their minions. Not a single one of the current commissioners could have won their seat had they campaigned on the REAL issues facing this County. They took a made-up, never-gonna-happen "issue" and parlayed it into an elected office, riding
  19. Political knowledge just drips off of you. I'm totally in awe of your grasp of everything that happens in this county and your in-depth knowledge of budgeting and cash-flow. NOT. /sarcasm
  20. I know this is probably a first around Pee.com, but I agree with Cain. Take the dog to the vet. That is exactly why we crate our dogs every time someone comes in the house.
  21. Which is the only thing that kept Rick Perry and Jan Brewer from activating their state's National Guard and posting them along the US"s Southern Border. And sometimes the States need to do things the woosies inside the Beltway are too scared to do.
