What, exactly, was done in "secret"? You keep whining about that, but if it was "secret", how do you know about it? If you are basing that comment on Toddy-boy's statement that he "didn't know" about the Propeller deal, you are on pretty shaky ground. The actions of the PCAA, an independent agency, created BY the Commission, has no legal responsibility to either notify the Post Commissioners of actions taken or pending actions. Any notification other than the official board minutes is purely a courtesy. Pownall could have attended the PCAA meeting where the Propeller deal w

Question about Chairman candidate Carmichael

And any way you look at it, it's still better than a vote for Leggett and Shearin. -
Not if you vote for Dave Carmichael.

Question about Chairman candidate Carmichael
glassdogs replied to marvinthemartian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Dave is an aviator. He flew military, civilian passenger, and state passenger and aerial photo aircraft. He's been in and out of airports all over the world, good and bad. I think it is obvious that he knows a bit about how one should run and what it takes to be a successful operation. Now, having said that, I know from several conversations with him, he is NOT obsessed with having a commercial airport. The "anti's" really have NOTHING to campaign against him with except the made-up crap about turning Paulding County into "Riverdale West". At this point in our country's -
All of this happened in spite of the Chicken World 4"s best efforts. Imagine what we could have if we had some LEADERSHIP in this county.

WHY do you think SCF would be a "major airport hub"? Surely you have a better understanding of economics and business decisions than that? Ain't NO way that a one-gate terminal is gonna be "major". Ain't NO way that a 5500' runway is gonna be "major". Ain't NO way that one runway is gonna be "major". Ain't NO way that a bus system is going to gear up for a rural airport. Use your head, man. All the focus on "passengers" ignores the fact that UPS, FedEx, DHL, who-ever, could start cargo flights this afternoon and go around the clock, 24-7-365. And they don't need a Part 1

Pull your head out of your butt-crack and pay attention. 1.) Carmichael resigned his Post position based on Diedra Holder's advice. You can not hold one office and run for another. So, in order to qualify for the May GOP primary for the Chairman position, he had to be out of his Post position before filing for Chairman. Had he not tendered his resignation when he did, Paulding County would have had to hold a special election to fill Post 1. His resignation was timed so that the Post 1 partial term election could be on the Statewide Presidential election ballot on March 1. Had D

I know you, I've been to your home. You are a smart guy. But your reasoning is just plain idiotic on this airport equals crime statement that you keep spewing. I own several handguns that are WW2 collectible pieces. Does the Nazi proof marks on them mean I am anti-semantic? Does it mean that I'm going to run up to the corner and stick up the convenience store? Not any more than SCF having the Part 139 Certificate implies that passenger service is gonna happen. Frankly, I'm amazed (and offended) that you could morph Dave Carmichael's service to this Country, State, and C

Another protest in Atlanta tonight..... (sunday)

The operative word in my comment was "INNOCENT". And any "statistic" from the Washington Com-Post-Heap is automatically biased and therefore not even worth the effort to peruse. Now, who was it that was spouting nonsense? Fool. -

Far more innocent cops have been murdered by the citizenry than the other way around. Yet, the police show up to work every day and do their job without protest. -

Probably none of the protesters have to worry about getting up early tomorrow morning to head out to work.... -
Yet you have almost 10% of the posts in this thread.

Yep. And in your high-and-mighty attitude, you refused the information. Yet, you want to bloviate about something you (apparently) know nothing about. Nice Green wanted me to POST the ORR's on pee.com.

Sure. I'm going to redact these peoples' names. NOT. So your response can then be something like, "well, you didn't name names. So how do I know this isn't all made up"? Or something like that.

Since none of the ladies has been identified, I'll choose to take your comment with the proverbial grain of salt. I haven't believed a damn thing you have said during this entire election cycle, why should I start now?

Suppose, for a minute, that YOU were one of the individuals who had filed the complaints. Would you want your name bandied about? Trust me on this: My wife retired after 31 years of Federal employment. (mostly at CDC) She has read the complaints. Her comment was that any one of those complaints by itself would have caused the man to have gotten severe disciplinary action, and multiples (like what we have going on here) would likely have resulted in termination. And I'm sure you know how hard it is to get fired from the Fed. Notwithstanding the peccadilloes in those compla

Thanks, Lady Raider for posting that information.

I really don't care. I have less than zero respect for her.

And your credibility level is about on a par with Hillary Clinton. The one who is supporting your candidate is supposedly after Diedra's job. Which board position have you been promised?
