I have heard that there are some clinics that offer free dentistry or donation type work. Anyone know of any? I called one that is in Austell but had to leave a message. I actually hit myself in the face with a stick a couple of months ago and it has caused an abscess and 2 of my teeth to go bad apparently. I went to the dentist and they said I needed a root canal. At the time it was only the 1 tooth that was hurting. Now one of my front teeth, which is actually where the majority of the blow hit, is hurting really bad and I'm having some swelling. There are also temp agencies out there that you can submit your application/ resume to and they find work for you. That's an option... Also, Michael's, Home Depot, Lowe's...places like that are usually hiring this time of year for seasonal.

I don't know if this is something you've looked into but some dentist office offer a credit line for things like this. You just apply for the credit card..it's strictly for the 1 dental procedure and you make payments. I had to do this with some chiropractic care and 1 time with the dentist. It's an option.

From what I've heard...they know it was not accidental. He had barricaded himself into his room in order to delay rescue services. It was said that he and his girlfriend had broken up...and also, the amount of pills in his stomach that had not digested yet meant he was taking them rapidly.

Oh ok! I gotcha! Well then I will have a talk with him tonight just to get a feel for things. If it seems that he is going to be an Ahole then I will see about an attorney.

Okay! Again, I'm thinking it will go smoothly. I am not one for hashing it out and causing a riff. I also believe that while we have had quite the fights and stuff that once he realizes it's a definate thing he will agree to most things as well. So I don't see us going to court and fighting for any length of time...I hope. Okay so do I still go to the library and get the forms myself and then get the attorney?

Thanks you guys for all of the advise. I guess we are going to have to come up with some $$. I'm hoping that for the most part we can agree on everything. I'm not going to try and screw him over or take more $$ than needed. Hopefully it will go smoothly.

I guess in order to get the appropriate child support ect., the attorney would be smart. So other advise I need would be, do you pay up front. Do you pay as you go. Can you make payments ect.,

I was searching some older topics on divorce and I saw where one lady and her husband went through a divorce with no attorney. They drew up the papers, signed them and agreed on everything right then and there. Took it to Regions for notarizing and it cost less than $80. Anyone else have experience on a divorce without all the costly fees. I don't know smoothly it's going to go but I am hoping we can both agree on things and not have to spend unnecessary money. Any advise and help is appreciated.

Didn't the report say they were undercover and dressed in plain clothing? Even if they did have a vest on...they pull up and jump out as fast as they did with guns pointed.. I don't think I could function well enough to take the time to notice WHAT they were wearing....I would just want to get the heck out of there.

I don't feel like it's anybody's business to tell me to get control or how to parent my child. Sometimes, you let them scream and there's nothing you can do about it. Just b/c you see my kid crying and me ignoring doesn't mean I HAVEN'T already done something about it but there is nothing in this world you can do to your child, while they are pitching a tantrum, that's going to "make" them shut up. I agree. Looks like some guys jump out of a vehicle...dressed in plain clothes pointing guns at him. I would've done the same thing. I would think I was about to be robbed or something and I would floor it trying to get out of there. Crazy.... It's really sad. Who knows what the man was doing prior to this but he didn't deserve to die IMO.

I used to walk there last year and I plan on starting again this year. I have GOT to get some weight off. I won't be starting again until after Sept 9 though. That's when my 4 yr old starts pre-k/ I will have my 2 yr old son with me though....

Prayers for the family! Such a sweet man~ And someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think it's a secret or something that the family would be upset about anyone knowing what happened....I mean, most of those who knew him knows what happened. Correct?

I've never liked Hartz much. When I worked at the vet there were a lot of cats that came in with neurological damage...seizures and things like that. BUT, some of that was owner responsibility as well. They put dog flea protection on cats.

My dad actually had a heart attack last Friday. He was sortof the same way. He had been having some chest pain and stuff like that for a couple of days and finally went to the hospital friday night. They sent him over to Kennestone and did an immediate cath and immediate stint. His main artery on the front of the heart was 100% blocked. He's a very lucky man!!! I hope your dad is okay and more than anything I hope you guys can mend your relationship!! Goodluck to you !
