I used to watch a reality show about some gator trappers who was on call from the Fla wildlife to remove nuisance alligators. They found gators in canals, personal fish ponds, small private lakes, swimming pools, mud bogs etc. It seemed like anywhere there was more than a bathtub of water,may be a gator. They also will migrate over land to places. If I ever went to Florida, probably would only go near water at the beach.

Was outside around noon with mower and dump cart doing some yard work. Came inside to cool off for awhile. Heard some thunder, went outside to put up mower. Too late, had already been raining. Waited and hour or two to let dry. Put up mower, left trailer to dry more. Went out about 6pm to put trailer. Raining again! Put up trailer anyway.
