I must have missed something... I do not remember reading anywhere that the students in the 1/2 mile areas have to walk to school. Now having said that, I wish that every one in the county could be picked up. The BOE said we can not so PARENTS need to keep the kids safe. It sounds like this is what she was doing. I do hope she is ok and back on her feet ASAP!

Please know what you are talking about before you post something like this. The child did not, I repeat did not come in and find her grandmother dead. It was another adult in the community that found the grandmother. The child was not there at all.

tbird Why do you think that if you have not lived in Paulding County all your life then you are an intruder? I understand the point you were trying to make was that people need to pay because you want to live in Paulding County and I agree, but in my opinion that is not how it came across. I have spent the past 20 years in Paulding and I also drive a Paulding County School Bus, so just because I was not born and raised in Paulding I do not belong? Now to get back to the point of the topic (NOT HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN PAULDING COUNTY) I will vote yes, I do wish that some of the money

The school I drive out of got out at 2:05. I mean we were rolling at 2:05. 25 min early.

Zoo, I agree with you. I hope the county will learn from this mistake. Thank God all my parents was at home.

My personal children were not on a bus today and I'm there bus driver. But I understand that so many parents have to work and didn't have any other way of getting their children home.

How do I know you are not a busdriver?? You wouldn't have said what you said.. It was very scary and unsafe. I have been driving for many many years and I have never been scared like that. All over the roads it was nothing but sluch by the time we were on our second runs. Our buses couldn't put the hills. We just slid. I know that every drivew I drive with would agree.

Well I'm glad you can say "Does it really Matter" Were you in the middle of the road sittin in a bus turn sideways?? Did you have to get 80 students home safe and sound in the conditions we were in?? These are other people kids we as bus drivers are driving around. My life would be over if anything happened to any of them while they were in my care. Paulding County dropped the ball. We should of been put in the position we were put in today. So He!! yes it does matter. That is if you have ever been behind the wheel of a bus going sideways down the road with a bus load of kids.

ok. i guess it is the stables in paulding county that are going as groups like high country and rountree. i dont mind paying the individual fee though. thanks for all the help. one last question-where would i go to pay the fee??
