I have only posted here on P.com what has been proven over and over.
Beverly Cochran was the adminstrative Assistiant To Jerry Shearin and the Board Of Commissioners, If you need proof of that Look at the minutes of the BOC meetings.
Now if you believe that she merely kept minutes, And did other menial task for the reported $65,000 per year salary then that is also fine with me.
Quite frankly, I do not believe that, And this is my opinion, Just like your opinion.
Maybe you can repost something where I have accused Beverly of wrong doing??

Very Strange to me that Beverly has not sent me a PM questioning anything that I have posted??
Beverly was part of the Jerry Shearin adminstration, And I am going to try and keep that out there for all to see from now til July 20,2010 And up into August if there is a run off.
If you were okay with that adminstration, Fine with me, I realize that some of the Paulding County Republican party offcials/Ex officials may still support him, And that is fine with me also Why? Because she is not going to come on here and play games with bs.

When all of the naysayers were on this site last election supporting the likes of JS, And the mysterious link to a web site popped up here on P.com that had all the previous allegations posted as proof postive of his actions, Most of ya''ll scurried like a bunch of rats looking for a hole to run into.
And just who is running in this election, that is tied directly to the King?????????

Leave the GOP out of it as I speak on my own. I doubt any records is going to change anyone's mind about Beverly as she was not an elected official, could not make decisions, and did her job as she was hired to do, and broke no laws.
Surepip has a vendetta against Jerry and that is what he is doing to further his cause and use this site to promote his vindiction. I don't care which party he votes for but his attitude is liberal plain and simple.
His business with the county should be in the courts; not him coming on here and trashing anyone he pleases so he can get his jollies by doing so just because she was his assistant.
It is dirty and smells bad and it is a shame that some cannot hold themselves back by doing so "because" they can on this site without being warned.
It is pitiful to be honest. People want to know where she and other stand on issues by meeting them; not hearing twisted facts to suit ones agenda on this site. And having someone whose main mission is too trash anyone he deems, in his opinion, to not be worthy of any elected office, even when he doesn't live in Post 2 and expect others to believe every word he says.

I offered to sit down and negotiate. David and I had a nice meeting at the time, and since. David let me know three members of the BOC chose NOT to sit down and negotiate until the Judge rules on the primary motion now at hand. OK with us. We offered to let the county off for far less than the dollars in the suit. Instead, from that point forward, we let it stand. WE can say we offered. They chose not to even give it a shot.
I have not turned on David Austin at all. I saw and spoke with him last week as well. Where do you get your misinformation from ? Where do you get off saying I have turned on him ? Excuse me again???????? You and your bureau of misinformation appear to be working overtime.
I will be picking up my open records request information tomorrow concerning Beverly, and will scan them and post to p.com as soon as possible.
I will be awaiting for an apology from you in the interim, although I highly doubt I will see one. Like some of your cohorts.....you are not always right, but are NEVER wrong.

And then expect the incoming Chairman to retain you in that job no less. When you work for an elected official on his personal staff you are 100% expendable when the next administration arrives. Ms Cochran felt she was entitled to her job forever.

I have no clue who is running let alone what they are lying about errr promising to do.....will there be that early voting stuff? I sure do hate having to drive to the other end of the world just to vote.

If I understand what you are attempting to convey is that Beverly Cochran Has worked for the Commissioners for the past twelve years, During, which time we have experienced many tax increases, A airport that we did not want, A building boom that has caused chaos in the school system, which has now resulted in massive layoffs, A lack of a an adequate water supply to attract needed industrial growth, Grid lock on the roads, A tax scheme in 2008, whereas the people of this County were being duped and she should have sat by watched all of this occur, And because she was loyal to her employer, and kept her mouth shut She is now qualified to be one of our commissioners?
GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!
I am sure you'll have your chance to ask her at the Republican Meet and Greet on June 19th.

If I was a candidate and saw the owner or anyone employed with the company talking bad about someone or saying they wouldn't vote for me because an individual resident of Paulding is,I would not be inclined to come here and advertise or even speak with that company. JMOThat is because Pat is a hardcore liberal socialist and I am a Conservtive Republican. So I expect him to say that. It is nothing new, really.

Having said that,And in response to your query In is a know fact That Beverly Cochran was the adminstrative assisstant to Jerry Shearin for his eight year term in office, And in particular during the period of time in which the Shearin adminstration was attempting to circumvent State Law on proposed tax increases in the year 2008.
The records also reflect campaign contributions to at least one of the candidates, Which can be verified at the voter registration office.
Other than that, I do not recall tying Jerry Shearin into this campaign Maybe BB and yourself can point out where I have done so?
Now.............. I will say this, It appears to me that The post 3 and post 4 races also have some influence being applied from a prior Adminstration, However I am not prepared to discuss those issues at this time, Need to check into some further details first
Well heck, why don't we just not vote in Commissioners and just allow adminstrative assisstant makes the decisions. Geesh...

Back to our previous discussion, when J/S was running for office I recieved several invites to fund raising events for J/S at the Hardy's. I even went to one and quickly realized how freaking boring they were! I never recieved one from D/A during his campaign and having a sign in front of a business, in County/State right-of-way (which they had permits to do), does not require permission from that business. J/S had a sign right in front of his daughter's office where D/A worked. I have recieved an invite from T/P for a fund raiser event at the Hardy's home. Those are the facts I have stated before and they are still the facts. You may make judgement for yourself, like you normally do!
Now I ask you the same question I did before, the one you are side-stepping. What does J/S have to do with this election? Please provide proof, not accusations!

Spin it all you want Whitey but with these comments, I am of the opinion that you are obviously linking Jerry Shearin and Beverly Cochran, thereby bringing Jerry into the campaign.
As to the campaign contributions, you might want to take the time to research this further - could be that this person might have contributed to another candidate's campaign in this race also - might have been $100.00 which does not have to be reported.

The main bashers of anything GOP in this county is Whitey, Surepip, and Feelip(Always have wondered of the two "pips" are the same or related
) and their hatred Jerry is really pathetic. It shows every time and even of the janitor that worked under the last BOC was to run, they would drum up something on that person so they continue to jab Jerry at all cost.Of course they use this site to do so and to be honest, after awhile, it gets very annoying. Instead of sticking to the present people running, getting to know them and what they stand for doesn't mean much for any of them.
It is one of many reasons people get turned off with politics when other rake candidates through the ringer when someone like Beverly had nothing to do with the decisions made by the BOC.

From what I have been able to find out, Beverly threatened to sue the county for the loss of her job and received a rather nice "settelment" package when the dust settled.
Do you want her coming in as a somewhat premeditated protagonist on the BOC with an ax to grind? That should make a wonderful working relationship with her and the rest of the BPC......right ?
And if that is true...what business do you have in this? You have ZERO. How do you know it was a "settlement" package? What if it was a retirement package? Huh? You are digging up non-sense. You are accusing based on your own opinions.

I have also did a little checking on the candidates,And took the time to research some records of the prospective candidates in the Post 2 race.
I listened to the candidates speech at the Past Republician Meeting, And was amazed at how Gregory and Cochran attempted to distance themselves from the Previous Tax and spend Adminstration, That was defeated in the past election.
WOW just WOW how can a person be employed for eight years with the past Adminstration and not be considered a part of that adminstration's, policies,And the tax and spend that occured during those eight years.
Gregory, In his speech attempted to distance himself from the "Good ole boy's" network of the past, However, the proof is also a Matter of record, A review of Gregory's Campaign Contribution disclosure that he filed, Plainly shows that he received a campaign contribution from the "King" of the good ole boy's Himself.
Why be a hyprocrite??
My impression of both Adam and Beverly, They have been a part of the past adminstration, That has caused many problems that Paulding County faces today, And should be rejected by the voters.
Time to move Paulding County Forward. Not backward.

BMR If you are speaking of me, I have been in this county long enough to remember the only red light in the County was at the old court house. I love this County and the citizens that are in this county.
