    My granddaughter just called and said that she was stopped in traffic on 61 south, and it is not moving. Police have road blocked. Anyone know what might be happening? She is sitting near Harmony Hills Apts.

    You may be hearing this: There was an accident off Hwy 101. Helicopter landing at Beulah Land Baptist Church. A car hit a tree according to scanner.

    That is a bad intersection. When those south bound on Hwy 92 are trying to make a left hand turn, the North bound traffic is flying by. Just be very cautious if you are turning right on to Pine Valley Lake, and yield to those turning left from the South bound lane on to Pine Valley Lake Road at the same time.

    Anyone listening to the scanner? Our daughter just called and said that Ridge Rd was shut down near Austin Middle School due to an accident.

    A gas main break about 1 mile south of New Georgia Baptist Church on Hwy 61. This is just before you get to the Georgian Parkway if you are going South.

    I think the fire was in one of the kindergarten rooms, but not sure what caused it.

    I heard that the fire is out, but some water damage in the kindergarten hall. Don't know what caused the fire.

    Anyone know what is going on at Dugan Elementary? Firetrucks are there.

    Yes, you are probably right. However, she was putting many lives in danger by driving too slow along that busy highway. That alone could have caused a serious accident. Poor judgement for sure. There are better ways of punishing the child.

    Thanks for posting. I don't think I have ever seen them before Seems as though a remind is definitely needed. Maybe these need to be enforced .

    My heart aches for the family. Sooo sorry to hear of this. You certainly have my prayers. I have a lot of good memories of Linda in the florist business.
