  1. The holidays are only as stressful or as wonderful as you make them. I personally love the holidays! I love the Christmas lights, the family, the closeness, I love getting things for my child and making things for my family. Holidays don't have to be stressful if you don't want them to be. It's all in what you make of it. IMO. I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!

I absolutely agree with that statement. . It's only as stressful as you make it. We don't have lots of money but we'll have to buy cheap toys - my kids will still play with them. My family is Super cooperative and so we are running around everywhere and well we say No to the things that may add stress to our family.

  2. Sorry to disappoint, but I LOVE the holidays.

I love the spending time with friends and family, the food, the music, wrapping presents, picking out the perfect tree,

making cookies and candy, sending cards to relatives and troops, Christmas movies, the lights and decorations...

I love everything about the holidays, so many great memories to be made.

I do not stress over any of it, I just do the things that make me happy and forget the rest...

Life is too short to be unhappy.

And it is a Wonderful Life, so I plan to enjoy it while I can...

(I just wish I had children of my own to share it with...)

Can I get an amen! I absolutely LOVE This time of year - yeah if I think about our hardships I could get depressed but why do that? I get to see my family, watch the kids get super excited over the one stran of Christmas lights the neighbor put up. I get so excited this time of year. . . YAY!

  3. I don't have a dishwasher I, like LGM, actually find washing dishes relaxing. The kids 3-5-7 actually like to help! I tell you like an old co-worker of my would always say "Make a game out of it" it seems silly but really it makes the time fly when you make it fun.

  4. people who talk loud for no reason, parents of hellian kids, people who say "St Valentimes Day" and "I could care, less". Then,it would be possible to care less, chewing with your mouth open, fake nicey nice, churchy lingo from fake people, Liberals, taxes, cold breakfast, push over men, bossy women, people who wait until the lane ends to merge, moon pies,Keanu Reeves, people who make fun of handicapped people, sno cones...whats the point? Nicholas Cage, women who wont wear a dress, people who get rid of their dog,Jessie Jackson, people whose lives revolve around their next meal, press #2 for Spanish,Star 94,prudish people, how cold they keep it in Waffle House, award shows, top 40 music, nagging women, women who dont miss a chance to say"Im an independent woman",whiners, romance novels,Katie Couric, local news, government red tape, people who name their kids yuppie names they made up themselves.

But other than that...Im good. :)

    :(

  5. People who cheat see also: People who start new relationships when they haven't even ended the one they are in.

People who don't know the meaning of commitment or what FOR BETTER OR WORSE means "I'm just not happy" is such a whiny thing to me.

  6. Liars ~ Heelies ~ and the stupid bluetooth

Oh I forgot that one - I hate, seriously HATE, when you hear someone say "Hi, how are you" while you are walking down the aisle at the store and you turn to answer only to realize they are speaking into their ear.

  7. People who think rules DON'T apply to them - that means NO HEELIES IN THE STORE, NO DOGS IN THE STORE (I absolutely hate folks who bring their dogs in the store), etc.

People who DON'T STOP AND READ THE INSTRUCTIONS - this happens a lot at children's museums were half the stuff doesn't work cause some kid kept hammering the button instead of reading the directions

  8. I always want the truth - and I tend to tell you the truth. . .

:ninja: unless you ask me about you new hair do then I may be forced to lie :ninja:

    LOVE YA B!

  9. I am sitting here on the computer enjoying the sunlight and the garbage company comes to get our trash. The lazy garbage man empties our containers then places the container back...But not where we had it he puts the freakin thing in the middle of my driveway. So yeah whoever comes or goes is going to have to get out and move it. Sorry...not having a good morning. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Ok so who's the lazy one?

  10. I *want* west georgia children's academy - but I fear they'll have a waiting list a mile long. That's why I'm asking now

But if I can find a place maybe between me and you that would be good too. I just know that M already knows WGCA and talks about it every day we pass by, so I know she misses it.

    Aw thats sweet

I'm really torn between the "free" pre-k (which will put me racing to get her from school and the kids off the bus at basically the EXACT same time) or New Ga Baptist has a great program that's only 3 hours a day but of course it's not free. . .

Plus the at regular pre-k they teach the kids to take a nap - but in Kindergarten they have NO nap time. so A will have to learn to take a nap then learn to NOT take naps. ..

  11. I never knew there was a difference 'tween indoor and outdoor furniture.

    seriously.

I know plenty of folks who use pretty "wicker/outdoor" furniture indoors. I think it's crazy that someone can tell you what you can use as outdoor furniture. . .

I think I'd start using toilets as pots in the garden for sure
