  1. I think any paying member can get in. Even the red. So I don't think it is just for the club members. But I don't know that for sure.

Did y'all see the other picture that was posted? OMG :P

Sorry, I just had to be mean. :D

but the forum itself can be followed on the recent topics page where the original thread had been moved, or it can be found on the paulding.com page, under 'internet cafe' in tiny print..

AuntSuger, the Honky Tonk is where the naughty stuff goes ;)

Thank you for the clarification. Now how do I get into the Honky tonk because a little naughty stuff is never a bad thing!

  5. I want to first say thank you to all who sent prayers and thoughts my way over the Holidays. I have been blessed to live in a great community. As far as Dad. . . Well he made it through Christmas (it was Great!) and even into the new year (barely) But he passed away last week (Jan. 5). I now have a huge appreciation for Hospice Nurses. They are really angels on earth here to help others "let go." Anyway I just wanted you guys know that as soon as my babies are over the flu I hope to be visiting some of the great churches y'all mentioned to me.

    Thanks

    Jen

  6. I too had a fight with the fish lady at Petsmart today (yesterday), but I won! I got twenty fish in a 200 gallon aquarium! And she said I couldn't do it! :p Ha! I laugh in the face of adversity

  7. As long as they can provide a stable home, I don't have a problem! Better to have a same-sex couple who obviously want and love a child than a "normal" couple who don't know each other beyond a one-night stand or a couple hopeing to save their marriage through a child.

  8. Hi I'm new to paulding.com so please be gentle with me!

We are looking for a church that will feel like family.

I've been praying for God to send us to a church that He wants us to be a part of, but I've been too busy with my father's illness to really listen to where He wants me to go. I figure I can "try-out" several churches until I find the one where I "feel" this is where God wants me to be. I need a church that has a great kids program; we have four children ages from 18 months - 11 years. My husband works evenings so we are limited to daytime and weekend activities. We are a middle-class white average all American kind of family! We aren't set in a certain denomination, but my husband likes upbeat music (helps him stay awake) and I would like a mature family-oriented pastor who I can actually go to for advice and guidance (not someone so young they remind me of my brother!)

Sadly, We won't be able to start our "church" search until after the new year. My father is at the end of a losing battle with colon cancer and the doctor doesn't give him much time (just a few weeks). So every weekend is spent there with him. I know he knows Jesus and is going to a better place, but it is still hard to say Goodbye. Thanks for listening and please give advice to which church (and please give location, we are new to Paulding) you think is best for us!
