  1. The "Click here for recent topics" link stopped working for me last night. Now when I click it, I get an error message saying "Sorry, but we did not find any matches to display. Try again and broaden your search criteria. If you were searching for new posts since your last visit, it's possible that there are none to show."

However, if I edit the link to remove the &active=1 it works fine. Did I unknowingly do something to append the &active=1 onto the link? Is it just me?

  2. nope, not gonna do it...this has 'screamer' writen all over it.

It's not a prank, just a test of your knowledge of the USA. You have to label all 50 states.

I embedded the test above, but won't post my score. I wasn't too good at labeling the western and New England states.

  3. This is about two miles from the Paulding County border. When I drove by at 9:15 this morning, the yard of the house on the corner was taped off with several Cobb County emergency vehicles lining the side of the road. Several reporters were lining the other side. My coworkers told me that the road was closed earlier and they had to detour on Hill Rd.

  4. Thanks for reinforcing what I already said. It took you a lot more words than me but you go pinky. ;)

Well if I'm gonna stay pink I guess I'll have to talk a lot too!

You didn't say anything about Gatorade, which is formulated to rehydrate and replenish fluid and electrolytes. :p

  5. A hangover comes simply from being dehydrated, so a person wanting to avoid becoming dehydrated should be sure to drink plenty of water at least before going to bed or throughout the evening if they might get too drunk to remember or be capable of making choices before passing out. Drinking alcohol leads to frequent urination and sometimes vomiting, and water is needed to replenish the fluids in your body. Gatorade is very helpful, also.

Dang it! You're supposed to be giving out driving certificates!

lol is that what y'all call citations?

  6. This cost is only $60. Even if I lost, I think it would be worth it just to force one of the executives to come all the way out here and answer some questions.

A few years ago while a friend of mine was president of a HOA, a homeowner took them to court because he didn't want to pay the $50 annual fee. The homeowner lost and had to pay a couple thousand dollars in associated expenses after a countersuit.

  7. El Pollo Loco's promotion was that they would take KFC's coupons on Mother's Day because KFC wasn't going to (perhaps KFC thought they might get overwhelmed with coupons on Mother's Day?)

Now that KFC stopped accepting the coupon and is offering a rain check, El Pollo Loco has come out saying for a limited time they will accept competitor coupons for individual chicken meals and give you a $1 discount on any of their combo meals..

  8. The HTML CODE shows up because I use HTML to build a table. All commerce members have the ability to use limited HTML ... no javascript but it does allow posting of flash (although I used the BBCode for flash.)

To elaborate, pubby and Commerce members have the ability to post HTML, but if a non-commerce member quotes it, the HTML will show because they did not have the ability to post the HTML.

the reason I believe it is something on your puter is that:

    1. It doesn't show on mine.

    2. this is typical behavior for popup ad-ware/spyware ... they like the idea of people associating it with a site they visit often ... makes it seem more credible.

    3. Is the ad a national ad? what is it for? Is it local? If it is and if it is not local you can bet that it did not originate from paulding.com

I am pretty certain that the "pop-up" that is being blocked on certain users' computers is just the new window containing the portal that would otherwise be opened. No ad, just the software preventing script from opening a new window.
