  1. Below is a new one we received today. I will not post names or email addresses of the people asking but would love to help them. This is the actual email today that came in around 7:00 pm:

"what if you need assisstance in paulding my husband left me

and my 8 yr old with nothing i have been staying with friends and its

getting old to them is there any help that would help with rent i found

a house for 450 month not alot but a roof over our heads and could be

afraid of my husband I work as a merchandiser but work is very slow I

WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We see this everyday. Most people in Paulding live paycheck to paycheck and if they loose their job or one part of the family leaves or abuse is happening they are homeless.

  2. Where will they go after the 3 days are up at Country Inn?

We never know! They just have nowhere to go here.

  3. Miss D we are so lucky to have you helping us with this event! I am so proud of pcommers for helping us with this event! I can't wait to meet all of you.

Just a quick note. We received a phone call yesterday for a woman with 2 small children that had been booted out of their apartment and had no place to go. I have sent the message to everyone that MUST may help or Country Inn may take them for up to 3 nights if they have an opening. We still pay but a little less than normal. We are in desperate times and need to band together and get this built.

Thanks again for the support. We are getting calls for help everyday.

  4. Not sure we are the best one's to decide age limits  - but what are the rules related to if you want to go longer than 3 mins - is that allowed or is it WAM BAM and move along buddy!

It is wham bam unitl all tables have been visited. Then you get to socialize after.

  5. going to bed I will check back in the morning!

If you don't know what speed dating is I will explain! 3 min with each person to get a quick introduction and see if there is any connection. After 3 min. you move to the next table. The girls get to stay put and the guys move table to table. When done the general hang out continues over food and drinks.

    Sounds kinda cool!

Very happily taken! thanks for asking. Can't beat being married to the law!

  6. Had an idea today while eating at Vito's and spoke with the owners. Although I am married we have a single nanny(29 and a knockout) that is very shy and I saw lots of other single people there today. I thought maybe a speed dating night at Vito's would be kinda cool. Maybe a 25-35 group then older or youger group if needed. What do you think??????

  7. Just a quick note from Jay and I to say thank all of you for helping us with this dream. We promise to make it a facility you will be proud of. This will be evident with the communities dedication and support. Right now we are helping 2 gentlemen that are homeless and from Paulding. Without this facility they are sleeping in the woods and empty houses without any water or power. I cant wait to get this land and building in place. We need each and everyone of you.

  8. This is going to be a great event and I hope more people are able to volunteer their time for this cause. My husband and I are going to be out there showing our support and volunteering, hope to see you guys there!

    SweetCharitree,

We can't wait to see you there! I hope more of our supporters from pcom will join us! Thank your mom for all of her hard work on this event! We could not do it without her.

    Krista
