  1. I am completely surprised by the commentary about it being ok for a 14 yr old to receive pictures of someone's wife!!! With or without clothes on. Adults seem to have forgotten their roles in life. A kid needs direction and guidelines set. Not jokes and saying it's ok! That is what is completely wrong with our society today. Everyone is too busy, and they just joke or look the other way. If the wife okayed the picture to be sent, then why wasn't she arrested as well for the indecent exposure to a minor. Just doesn't seem to all add up quite yet. But I worry about how many boy's have
  2. I am surprised by all of the joking going on regarding this story. This man has been considered a very well respected person in the East Paulding and Hope Church Community. He has 2 beautiful daughters and a loving wife that have been involved in the Hope church Ministry for at least 10+ years. People should be concerned knowing this has taken place, instead of turning their heads and looking the other way. I feel such pain for his wife and daughters, not to mention the 14 year old and his parents. I am sure that this 14 yr old probably looked up to Mr. Harper, and I am sure that the par
  3. I am a little late joining this discussion, but I have to throw in this reminder - Hello??? Paulette was being featured the same year as the "Millionaire Next Door". With her being a "Millionaire", then why didn't she pay a good attorney to defend her "Good" name, if she were innocent? When it comes to my Good name, and how I was raised, I would do whatever it took to protect my name and my reputation if I were innocent. Even if it meant going broke. I just won't be a bit surprised if there turn out to be more skeletons in the closet. The bottom line for me is, I want a good, "HONEST"
  4. Thanks Pubby! Taylor will be able to use these with her portfolio in the future, I am sure. Hope I run into you at Paulding Meadows! Take care!
  5. Surepip, I forgot to also pat "Kim Cobb" on the back too. She encouraged Pubby to let Taylor do some interviews and recordings for him. Thank you both, along with Pubby, for making this all happen for her! If she ends up hitting the "big time" she will not forget any of you! She's still a "small town" girl from Paulding County -
  6. Awww Pubby, Thank You! That was nice! I am missing my girl right now. This really makes me proud! I need to know what I can do to get a copy? And kateoc - Thank you for your kind words below!!(I wasn't quite sure how to incorporate your quote into this same box ) Fox News was fortunate to have Taylor intern there this summer and what a great opportunity you had with P.Com. Way to go Taylor!!!
  7. Thank you Everyone for the continued "kind" words! Taylor will feel so flattered when she reads all of this. And I feel like an terrible Mom, but I don't have any pictures or clips of when Taylor did some work for Pubby.
  8. You are so right Surepip! I cannot believe that I left you out. Yes you did initiate the idea and the introductions. I really can't thank you all enough. If she does as well in the real world as she has in school, then my husband and I will feel that we have been very blessed. We will all be able to sit back and say "I knew her when..." - LOL!!! It really does take a community to raise a child sometimes. I love Paulding County!
  9. For all of the Ken Cook fans out there. It's strange to see the man I grew up watching sitting there with my daughter And thank you DC...Red!
  10. Thank you Laurie! It has been a while. I hope to see you soon!
  11. Thank you all for the kind words! The experience with you at PCom kept her motivated and focused. She is on track to graduate in May. There is no telling where she will go from there, but she will never forget the good people that helped get started.
  12. My daughter started out doing a little work for Pubby about 3 years ago. Now she is in her Senior year @ VSU. I just wanted to share the pictures from Taylor's internship @ FOX5 this summer. Look at the wonderful influence Pubby had on her!!! Thank you Pubby for taking the time to get Taylor started. She is well on her way, as least we hope!
  13. They keep talking about "Absenteeism" votes on TV. So can't there be some more votes to be counted that could affect the outcome for some of these Winners?
  14. Thanks for the list Pubby! BTW: I didn't see "Roger Hines" on your list for School Superintendent. Is this an oversight, or am I unclear about what should be on your list? Just wondering, because Roger Hines is a really great guy, and I hope he wins!
  15. Thank you so much for posting this website! I could not be there on Saturday, but my son was there representing our family, and ya'll took a beautiful picture of him! I will forever be grateful that you captured this moment for a very proud mom. My son is deeply saddened as he is close to the family, and for him to be out there with you all was a comfort to him. All of your pictures are so meaningful, and please thank everyone involved. To see "True Americans" coming together during a time of sadness to honor Jason,is such a powerful and loving gesture by all. You are all very special
  16. Jason(JJ), you have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Thank you for your courage and your dedication! You are a hero to all, and we thank your parents for sharing you with our country. Your work here is done. But we know you will continue to be our protector, our Marine, along side of so many others gone before you. Prayers go out to Claire, Jason, Parker and family and friends are are deeply hurting. RIP Jason! You have made us PROUD!!!!
  17. Is there any update? I saw the helicopter, the ambulances, the fire trucks etc at the shopping center at the corner of East Paulding and Dallas Hwy. I knew it must be something awful. Was there a house fire or something?
  18. Am I just missing the posts? I'm dying to hear what the day was like hanging out with the stars and being a star? Anyone??? Would love to hear about your experiences. Edited: Found the other post that LPPT started and I loved the pictures and reading about all of the experiences! I can't wait to hear more.
  19. Yes, this has got to be the same Mrs. Pack. She was a wonderul lady and an incredible cook!!! She will be truly missed! Joyce, May You Rest In Peace! My condolences to your family.
  20. Mrs. Green was my yearbook teacher all through high school. Both of them were such wonderful people! Coach Green was always so involved and loved what he was doing. I will keep them both in my prayers! If anyone has Mrs. Green's address could you please let me know. I, along with other members of the yearbook staff from East Paulding, would like to send her our condolences. --Kelleyofhiram's daughter
  21. No, still nothing else. My daughter left the park at the same time that I was posting earlier, because she felt uncomfortable.
  22. Patrol Cars, Police Dogs and a Photographer are down by the lake at Mt. Tabor Park. My daughter and nephew went there to feed the ducks and could not go near that area. Does anyone know what is going on?
  23. Baby Taz, My heart is filled with sadness. I only know this heartbreak through the sadness that my sister and brother in law have endured. They lost their 15 year old (their only child) 17 years ago. I miss my nephew sooo much. He was more like a brother to me. The day that he died, it was the most beautiful day of all on November 13, 1989. His was a very sudden, unexpected death. I don't know which would be easier. The unexpected or knowing that you are going to lose a loved one. I try to share this story on occasion, just to let people know that ASTHMA is a serio
  24. mskel, I have had the pleasure of knowing your mom and dad for the last 10 years. I met them at SVDP and they have always welcomed me and my family with a smile and a hug. I was deeply saddened to arrive back in town last night and to hear the news of Chuck. He will always hold a special place in my heart. A very kind and gentle soul. Please pass my condolences on to Joyce and the rest of your family. I will keep your mother in my prayers. I miss seeing her. Be strong for her. She will definitely need her family. God Bless You and thank you for sharing these lovel
  25. Anything to help! I know what it's like to lose a child. My sister lost her only child at the age of 15 and I know the devastation to her and my family, both emotional and financially. I think it is so wonderful all that you and so many more are doing. The family needs us (the "Paulding County" community) now more than ever. What a great community to live in.
