With huge cutbacks in education state pensions
Eddie Bennett replied to LPPT's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Up close, or far off, Republicans don't like government unless it is their government. And it's not government employees they like, either. Republican's like the already billion airs across this country. The money gets them elected. -

Not Facing Your True Personality Is Victimizing Yourself
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
A lot of us respond, to outside expectations, with behavior and thoughts that have, frankly, become epidemic in American society today. These behaviors and thoughts and patterns can cripple your life, and cripple a society, for that matter. And whether these behaviors are your's, your loved ones, or those of society at large, they are the kind of responses that promise certain disaster. It is not a win/win attitude, but it is a win/lose attitude, and YOU lose. The deck is stacked, or the coin is called after it is flipped (heads I win, tails you lose). -

Did you notice that he/she listens to a device instead of who might be around them. The people who are around them are already in their safe keeping, they are listening to who might be a potential candidates for a future dinner. -
Don't cheat yourself from being who you are, by paying to much attention to what other people may be expecting of you. The nitty-gritty issues, associated with the person who is you, can go lacking in different degrees in accordance with how much time you spend on the expectations of other people. Once you realize you are the most important person in the World, to yourself, you have developed an understand that your health allows you to live up to the expectation of your other loved ones in a manner that is extra beneficial to everyone. You are leaving happier tracks for people to follow.

Do People Try To Change You To Their Liking

Yes, BL, with two eyes and a bunch of horns! A People-Eater doesn't have to be purple. They can be, red, blue green, yellow, black, or just plain white. -
Just because I am my own best friend doesn't mean I don't have other, very important friends, adult! If i talked to myself on things like Notepad, then I would have to distribute what was on the Notepad. Why do that, when I can talk straight to all my friends, while I am talking to my own best friend?
-
I talk to myself about talking to myself. I talk to p.commer's about talking to myself. I spend more time with myself than I do anyone else. Why should I not be friendly with my own best friend, ME? What kind of friend would hang around with you for as much time as you hang around with yourself and not talk to you? I prefer friends who talk to me, and share their opinions. And, if they are reasonable opinions I want my other friends to hear it. What if I could help a friend save having to go to a professional and spend a lot of money, just by talking to him about what I know?
-
I like to hear people talk when they are making sense, I don't care if they are talking to me, themselves, or to an audience. If they are talking about something I have had to pay a profession to tell me, I encourage them to talk to themselves loud enough so I can hear them. It is cheaper than paying a professional, if they talk on a public forum.

I trust the Department Of Family And Children's Services over a woman who handles situations by committing multiple felonies.

Dealing With Stress; Have Any Of You Tried This?
Eddie Bennett replied to ButterflyLion's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We are all entitled, or must learn to deal with, going through grieving periods. Pivotal, drastic life changing, situations can put us into a period of shock. But, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger; maybe not in physical building, but in character building. I'm not suggesting that having to go through terrible things is in no way a good thing, but if we don't learn how to deal with it it can indeed kill a good person. One who benefits the World by continuing to live a long life. The world is a better place because some people live longer, in here, with the rest of us. I appreciate -

Dealing With Stress; Have Any Of You Tried This?
Eddie Bennett replied to ButterflyLion's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have never been without problems and challenges, which is a stressful way of living. But, I think of it as good stress. I have found that if things are calm and peaceful, in one area of my life, there's likely to be challenge and turmoil in another area. I only look to my own character to manage the stress I encounter. I say, facing problems head on builds character. Without occasional pain, we wouldn't be able to recognize and appreciate pleasure. I look at a challenge as an opportunity to distinguish myself. -
People Eaters Want Eat You If You're Tough

I have already seen that, markdavd! While I was watching it, I was thinking about the "People-Eaters" who ware ties, and white shirts. They are so polite in their table manners that they don't get anything on their shirts. They have learned skills that keeps them from having bloody shirts. -
That's good information, indeed, as Pubby would say!

I'll relay that message to my Mulberry Rock Road relatives, Subby. I appreciate it!

People Eaters Want Eat You If You're Tough

The only thing that will change a "People-Eater", MJF, is to sneak a big stick of dynamite, with the fuse lit, in the next person's back pocked, while the "People-Eater," is to busy eating people to notice it. -
I have a relative who was asking me if I knew anyone who works on chain saws. He lives on the property you have been to, on Mulberry Rock Road, a few years back.

Tt is not one to stand idly by without bringing some knowledge into something that seems to me like BS, that the others, who respond to Tt, doesn't even know is BS. They will still think the BS is fact, but it's not because Tt didn't try to tell them the truth. It's like Mark Twain said: "We don't deal much in fact when we are contemplating ourselves." So, our BS means a lot to us, maybe, but other people feel the same way about their BS. I think a lot of you, and Tt, whether either of you need my approval, or not. It seems to me, that P.com is a better place to visit, simply becau -

I appreciate Tt, tbw, because she is the way she is. I know she doesn't need my approval, nor my labeling that she is smart, but that is not what appreciation is, in my book. Tt doesn't need me to tell her anything, but I have the right to tell her that she is smart, if I want to. -
