Chairman Austin, Release the back ground check names

Then go and watch the video of the meeting again. Austin's excuse for not releasing the names was the ongoing criminal felony investigation. He says it more than once. There is not an ongoing criminal investigation now. They are back to square one. So release the names or give us a new lame excuse. Mike Jones had no business doing the investigations himself. Did he not have a full plate administrating the country during some severe economic challenges ? I would assume Sheriff Gulledge and his department are more than capable of investigating possible suspects in the extortion matter. -

A true exception. I grew up with hunting dogs, not as pets, but as hunters. My chores included feeding the bird dogs daily. But that earned me the priveledge of going hunting with them.' Only 1 time did I ever get the opportunity to hunt with an Irish setter that actually had a nose and could hunt. Most lost their hunting ability over generations breedeing for the coat, look, and gaits. No Nose, no birds. We had English Setters, Pointers, and some Brittanys. Some were champions, or could have been had we shown them instead of hunting them. But the best was a setter/pointer cross, -

By Mr.Turnbull, yes. A total and complete ruse that the armature theatrics then destroyed and deprived him of a year if his life. A year plus 6 months that's gone. Now, spin attempts aside, Mr Aystins excuse for not releasing the names of who else was investigated by his personal Gestapo was because of the fact they had a suspect indicted and arrested. Whose charges have now been dropped. So again, I ask that Austin release the names of everyoneike jones ran background checks on. And I'm hoping the FBI is looking into at least the possibilities of a substantial cash ho -
Chairman Austin, Release the back ground check names

I really am surprised more citizens are not up in arms about David Austin and mike jones trying to use the DA and the sheriffs department as their personal means of harassing citizens. How much more of these kinds of witch hunts are they or have they been instigating against citizens who speak out against the? -

Chairman Austin, Release the back ground check names

If you were truly just trying to post the best info you were aware of, the PLEASE accept my sincere apology. If you posted what you did to confuse more people, and provide Chairman Austin some additional spin, then you can stick it. I see too much of Austins posse trying to confuse instead of educate. -

You still are not up on this story. Your link is pretty old, and now totally inaccurate news. Come on now, are you putting up a link to a 17 day old story to take the attention away from Wednesday revelations that basically made the story in your link above to be nothing but subterfuge ? Here is a link to the Fox5 story, and there may be more now thats even newer: http://www.myfoxatlanta.com/story/28815364/paulding-sheriff-iteam Sheriff Gulledge has asked that all charges against Turnbull be dropped. Is this possibly what you can expect to happen when you have total am -
OK Chairman Austin, You have bragged how you had the backs of the 700 employees of Paulding Country. How about those 17 people your Gestapo ran back ground checks on ? You went through such a spiel of spin to explain why you were NOT releasing them because DA Donovan told you not to. Well what about now since it sure appears DA Donavan got suckered punched by Mike Jones just like Candi Goldman. Jamie Gilbert and I assume we can add Gary Gulledge to that list. Time to tell us who you and Mike Jones were so, so paranoid of that you had to spend hard earned tax money to have them ch

And assuming Mr Turnbull was 1 of the 17 background checks, what's the deal on keeping the other 16 secret ? There's a whole bunch of apologizing to be done, and probably restitutions paid. David Austin, you can just add that to your millions in legal bills you have stuck the citizens with to guard your arogance and protect your buds. But [Giggle-Giggle] that's certainly NOT the first time we've heard about the lunch sacks of cash paid to county officials not to mention all those free junkets to the casinos, hunting preserves, and more. Wonder what kind of legal costs there will be for false arrest ? Maybe Austin's Private Brown Shirt Gestapo squad will step up and pay the bill since it appears they decided who the perps were, ran background checks which confirmed whatever they were looking for, and then turned over what they had to the Law Enforcement and District Attorney to take over. Only to have to release the suspect today and I assume apologize [LEO not Austin, he's to arrogant for a sincere apology] for a false arrest. David Austin might well consider keeping his espionage and investigations to obeying t

The BoC has been editing, including deletions of actual conversations taking place between commissioners since Jerry Shearin started doing so in 2006. His were such poor deletions, you could often see the lips moving with no dialog. And they were shown on comcast as being true representations. AND, if that was not bad enough, his office instructed the videographer who was paid by the BoC to tape the meetings, to destroy all original masters AFTER editing what they wanted shown. And David Austin has chosen to continue the tradition of allowing you to see only what he wants you to see.

On the issue of the AA going along, .....or not, .....I believe the airport's money is still voted on within the Commission's budget. Getting into a pissing contest on modifying, or not modifying the IGA could freeze some moneies. What I want to know is how in the hell did David Carmichael get elected to the Board of Commissioners. It is painfully obvious he knows nothing or Roberts Rules and how they apply to the commission meetings and procedures. What is even more painful is how words and sentances can enter one ear, bounce around inside his head, and exit through the other ea

These teachers, principles, administrators, and upper management level executives of the APS System deprived those children from recieiving a proper education. Instead they helped them to cheat on the tests, receiving scores indicating they had learned the material, which they did not. As the Judge mentioned, he has encountered some of these students in his courtroom as criminal perps who cannot read and write properly. And by helping them cheat, get better scores they did not deserve, they also were able to obtain direct financial enumeration for improving the test scores....and consp

I know alot of our old employees watch Paulding.com, so I wanted you to know Big John, aka Spiderhead, is in Wellstar South Cobb getting a stint [1?] put in. Thats all we know right now. We were a great team there for 10 years or so, and we just wanted to ask that you remember John in your prayers tonight. Those were some great times and John is entirely too young for these kinds of medical challenges. Best regards to all, and prayers for Big John!

I disagree. I know many who like to lurk and read/view paulding.com topics and replies without getting involved in partisan politics or religion. And who take offense at crude and/or vulgar language. Having protected forums allows them to come on to the site and enjoy what they want without having to get into the drama so often present in the protected forums. Same goes for avoiding certain posters. I actually enjoy many of Eddie's topic titles, .....but I also recognize them, and seldom open and read.

Getting our mosaic back was another milestone in what seems to be a never ending battle to protect what is ours. We spent over $300,000 for litigation, and never got to discuss one word concerning the facts or merits of the cases inside a courtroom. The BoC spent close to or over $2,000,000 to make certain we were denied justice, and our day in court. We believed in the judicial system, and in the Constitution, specifically the 1st Amendement guarranteeing us the right to to to court and expose a corrupt and broken system. The BoC attorney even chastised us for coming up short, statin

I for one have little to no understanding of what this current Bru-ha-ha is all about ?!?! I was busy most of the weekend trying to take care of getting out stolen mosaic back into our possession, transported to our house in Cobb, and safely ensconced on the wall here. Damn, go underground for 36 hours and everything on pcom goes to hell. Can some explain to be why all of this BS is such a big deal ?

A traditional leg of lamb, which had been dry aged for 10 days. And it was tender, rare and yummy delicious!!! I have just always associated Easter Dinner with Leg of Lamb, except for 5 or 6 years where we had Roast Rabbit instead. The kids loved telling their friends and teachers they had eaten the Easter Bunny for dinner. Basmati Rice and lamb gravy. Deviled eggs from the colored eggs done Saturday. Fresh Asparagus. Gigantic Anit-Pasta Green Salad with 4-5 kinds of olives, sweet peppers, artichoke hears and bottoms, pepperocini, sun dried tomatoes, grape tomatoes with mozzarella and o

The Sheriff's office was able to supply the Fannie Mae Agent with 6 staffed patrol cars for the eviction, but would not let us even file a complaint for Theft by Conversion, because the agent was selling the house with our property still there ? Now most of our deputy's are really outstanding guys, but they stood around laughing on our front porch during the eviction with comments of "Take care when you choose to take on the Powers That Be in Paulding County, this is the kind of thing you can expect to happen". The eviction crew said they had no way to get the mosaic down and out of th

Thank you to all who helped!!! Dave the Mule came down off the wall, and into the truck without a hitch.....other than 5 months of fighting and hassling with the Fannie Mae people, the real estate agent for Fannie Mae who basically tried to steal our mosaic. And a thanks to Congressman Loudermilk's office for helping us get thru to the Powers That Be at Fannie Mae, that they could not simply change their minds and steal our family property because they chose not to do what they were supposed to when they evicted us. There are some good points already to leaving Paulding and moving to C

That seems to be evident on just about every level. -
I find the BoC attitude more than a bit on the arrogant side, but what else is new. Its kind of like, Hey, WE DECIDE WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU, like it or not. 5-6 chickens in a coop is no more of a smell problem than one 45-50 pound dog in a pen. If they are worried about backyard flocks making more of a problem with Avian Influenza, then they should outlaw ALL chickens regardless of acreage. And, that beeing the case, they should also ban all tropicals like Cocktoos, Cockatiels, Parrots, MaCaws, etc. They all carry exotic New Castle Disease. I will concede that if a nieghbor ha
