Sorry but your insurance company is completely naive if they feel like they can make that kind of promise at this point. They should stop telling their employees that unless they want a wild riot outside their office doors in a few months. Exactly! There is so much confusion on this crap it is unreal. The exchanges open 10/1 but no one seems to know much about the costs, etc only ten days before it kicks in. It's nuts...

I would talk to an agent who is informed on the new health care exchanges/laws taking effect on October 1st, hopefully that won't be as painful as the $675.

Ah, I get it now! Thanks for the clarification. In any event though, if the issue was known then something should have been done before it ran the guy into the ground. I know from my conversations that the office staff knew it was an issue and without billing, no one can survive. That should have been the most pressing issue to address every single day until it was resolved. Not three years later.

Yeah and ask them how they feel about zero tolerance... I can tell you of the ones that I have spoken with they don't like it. You do understand that there is common sense applied every day in law enforcement and selective enforcement, right?!?! There is no zero tolerance, they often look the other way if they feel the case warrants it. And don't tell me they don't because you will be lying. So why shouldn't administrators be given the same ability?
