We have to keep a stock of Gas-X for the chicken eating beagles or we would have to sleep outside. I didn't know they could take Pepto. I know plain pumpkin in the can (not pumpkin pie filling) will help if they are constipated, rice helps if their bowels are loose, baby aspirin helps if they need it for anything and Gas-X. Oh and Acidopholus for the real bad diarrhea, but only 1 at a time or it will go the opposite direction. Acidopholus puts good bacteria back in the intestines and checks your system.

I have already bought the spices I love to boil but it has to be really chilly because they just don't work if it's warm outside. Cloves, allspice, cinnamon sticks and pumpkin pie spice in a boiler of water simmering on the stove just makes the whole house smell like the fall / winter.

And Gas-X and Tums and Pepto. I'm kidding, I know they can take Gas-X but not the Tums and Pepto. She sounds really cute and all the smells were probably too much to resist.

This weekend is supposed to be really nice. A taste of fall.

LPPT, I hate to tell you this but I speak from experience... After they realize they are spoiled, there is no going back. Actually they give us special attention, extra cute poses, head tilts and such things to get us to try new people foods that they will love so we are just moving forward to them eating better than we do, their dinner must be the right cut and temp to suit their taste buds and moods.. I'm convinced there is some sort of underground society they are members of that gives them instruction on just exactly how to play us. We wouldn't have it any other way and neithe

This is the 2nd time in a week that I have heard of someone cooking with Coke. What does it do ? Is it sticky ? Sounds interesting. I love Krystals but they are the debil ! I could leave off the onions and just smell them on my husband's burgers.

Good idea Naturegirl. Share with us who he was and who you were together. We would love to hear and share the special memories. If you don't want to share them with us then maybe write him a letter with those memories and how much you miss him. I think writing is a pressure valve, for me anyway, after I write things down regardless of the emotions involved I feel like a weight is lifted. I go back and read them later and see things I may have forgotten or not thought of in awhile. I did this when my Mom passed away and for me it really helped.

I noticed last week that the lunch meats are a little smaller around and the slices are thinner. Especially bologna. I have been wanting a fried bologna biscuit but the slices were too thin to cook so I'll have to stop at Hardee's for one I guess.
