GOP rules do you hold an elected position in the Paulding County Republican Party? If so I think you should tone down a bit, it does not reflect very well on all members of the party

Feelip you keep pushing this LIE, not sure why, but Braddock was never on the committee and never agreed with the bond, but the voters voted on it. Golden was on the committee, but raised taxes at least 4 times on the board, if not more, when the county was starting to grow.
Braddock voted for 1 tax on the board, voted against all the others, and they reduced the millage one time, during the HIGHEST growth years in the county. This is all public record, why don't you and your buddy Surepip look it all up since you do open records request for everything else. It's very clear that you don't want the facts, you just want to push the lie.
These are all fine candidates, and none of them deserve to be lied about.
Voting for Golden because he's a nice guy and goes to church (I haven't seen him at church in years until he decided to run for office, but he is a member) isn't a real solid reason, but its your vote. I'm sure all the candidates are nice and go to church somewhere. (I had to LOL at the comment from Feelip about Stout flashing his Jesus badge - that is funny)
Feelip, Whitey, Surepip and the rest of you that are bashing Cochran and Lane. Not sure you why you don't like Braddock since she has a track record of voting against taxes, but you seem to want to smear that record as much as possible and not use the same "ran a business" criteria on that as you've used to justify why people should vote for Gregory and Pownall over Cochran. And you are saying glowing things about Avery without using the same standard you are using to hold Beverly to. You really are all over the place. So is business experience important or is it only important when it relates to your favored candidate in whatever particular race you are talking about to make your favorite candidate appear better?
I do however agree about the sweetheart construction deals.
Peeper Braddock has a track record of voting for most every budget proposed to the school board, which included tax increases every year, to say differently, you are misrepresenting her voting record this was all brought out in 2008 during the school board election, she lost that election by a landslide, And two years later I doubt the voters has had enough time yet to forget

Then I suggest you go to some of the meetings and find out how the process works.
NJ I think I have finally figured this thing about mass meetings out.read the by laws on the Republican Party web site,And if I understand them, A meeting is called for the purposee of electing degelates, So I guess Chris was elected by those who showed up.

They earn the right to become a state Delegate by attending meeting and working within the Party. They put their name on the list and make a request to become one. I believe they have to attend the Mass Meeting to be eligible.

He did not if my info is correct. He can't come on here to answer to it. He did print it though and he does approve of what it contains. I will say again I do not think it was a good move and I don't agree with it.

And look at those that were a part of it, And then ask yourself when did all this building begin, And who was a part of it.And if you want any details on the Hospital relocation I am of the opinion that Jason may be able to give you some answers on that, At least that is what the rumor in the barber shop was. DOT, the states in this country which are on the verge of bankruptcy are all liberal democrat controlled. The states that in the best shape, and yes we're one of them, are conservative republican controlled. Secondly, half of Europe is ready to collapse thanks to liberal social engineering and welfare. Thanks to Obama, Pelosi, and Reid, Georgia's Gold Dome will be turning a few more shades of Red after November. The "conservative" democrat is now offically extinct. They've being primary-ied off by the Democrat Party or else being out-polled by Repubs for November. I wish you and Mr. Avery the best of luck in Paulding. Until then, I have better things to do.
Obama,Pelosi and reid are not running for election in Georgia, Only Georgia Democrats and Georgia Republicans, With a few Libertians and Independents. The State of Georgia is in the worst shape it has been in for many years, And I think Georgians are going to vote for more Jobs, Better Education, and Less taxes And the Republicans have failed miserably in all three of these areas Those are the meat and potatoes issue facing Georgia

Thanks to you guys that included information in regards to my last post.
Sorry I was out of town for the last couple of days and didn't get a chance to get back on.
As I had mentioned I wasn't really sharing my opinion these candidates, but only asking if those builder/developer professions would matter to anyone.
Some said that the old crew caused the problems. I think probably the builders and developers before the economic crash would "lobby" so to speak to get what they needed to make their money - and as building was exploding they were able to succeed with ease.
Now some complain that the building explosion is a main reason we have the issues we have - as that just promoted much retail growth but not necessarily a balanced growth in years past.
Again, I have had an opinon shared that if we researched counties that seem to have a good balance of all industries and housing we would see that the housing boom starts first. Without people living in the community the development of industry won't occur. Who really has the answers, right?
I would hate to see that any group representing one industry have majority vote and then have the same problems that were rampant 10 years ago - when decisions were made specifically helping the one industry but without trying to balance all industries coming to Paulding.

Improved school choice, gun rights, stricter sex offender laws, tort reform laws, know they neighbor act, stricter illegal immigration laws, balanced the budget, and I could dig up several tax cuts targetted toward businesses.
Other than the balanced budget that you mention, Which ones are being enforced? And BTW the budget was balanced on the Backs of the citizens through higher property taxes and higher fees such as hospital fees and new tag fees Oh ...... I forgot to ask are the new immigration laws working, Are they being enforced, How about Tort reform,Is it being enforced, is it working.
You are correct those laws were passed, And unenforceable by the Republican Controlled State of Georgia, In the mean time we have the most Bank failures, Hghest unemployment ever recorded, And the legislature has did nothing to add jobs to the economny, fact is we are still losing jobs as I type

Nope our representives felt that it was okay for me to continue to pay the fuel tax,But Delta needed a little break OMG!!!!!
How many people in the state of Georgia are employed by Delta? Delta along with other airlines have felt the down turn in the economy and giving them a break like that may help save some Georgia jobs. I don't have a problem with it at all. May also help keep Delta operating here.
