Every thing you have posted is old news, been posted here numerous times, been thoroughly discussed both here and on face book, This was one of PUBBY's favorite topics. You need to get current. You do know that the last case heard in superior court was filed by the county... And they lost it......... Did I mention that it was a frivolous case....... That funding was available but the county elected not to use the funding available but rather chose to sue? You really need to get up to date.

You are quite an amazing lady. All this by just talking to a few of your friends. ROTFALMAO
-
Do you think they should have a business plan? If you agree that they should have a business plan do you agree that it should be available to the public through the freedom of information act?
-
In all the discussion that you have had have you seen the business model, or any plans that has not been made available to the general public for you to form this opinion. Have you seen the business plan developed by the PCAA?
-
I so wish that you would take your own advice.
-
Not trying to intimidate anyone, Only trying to have a civil discussion, which I thought was going nicely. I hope that no one on the PCAA or the BOC is of the opinion that the city of Atlanta and Hartsfield Jackson airport is going to just roll over and allow SCF to take a million customers a year from them without one hell of a fight. I seriously question that Paulding County has the revenue to fight these two entities, maybe you know something that I don't know? I have not said that Delta has "big pockets" in this post, maybe some where else but not here. I did say that Delta would

Hey BB are you okay? Your last two responses makes no sense
-
HUH care to explain?
-
I feel really, really, really, sad for you to take the bait that the board of commissioners threw out about Delta.... First the BoC and the PCAA made a stupid, silly uncalculated decision to compete with the City of Atlanta and Hartsfield Jackson Airport for about a million of their yearly customers. Do you really think that Paulding County with revenues of about $50 million can compete with these two entities for those estimated one million passengers they are attempting to take from them? BB that is big bucks that the City and HJ are fighting for. Delta has a win, win either way...I can

That is really no surprises here. If the hearing yesterday was inconsequential as you imply why would your selected group of commissioners spend $20,000 tax dollars to hear such a case? Given the fact that Brett Smith previously stated that he would fund the improvements until the FAA reimbursed for the work why did your elite group of commissioners insist on Brett Smith living up to his agreement instead of wasting tax dollars on attorneys fee's? Let's see the bigger issues have been decided in Favor of the County..... Yep the environmental Assessment was a clear win for the Paulding

Hey..... I got a idea....(who does that sound like?) Lets all meet Saturday and talk about this and send the PCAA a e-mail and ask for the business plan under the Freedom of Information act?
-
You sir are right on the mark with this post!!!
-
You sir have just bashed one of the most pro growth, pro business, citizens that I can think of, and one that HAS WORKED TIRELESSLY to bring good paying jobs to Paulding County. Surepip has worked on many different organizations within this County for the betterment of this county. Tundra is also another person that has devoted many hours of community service as well as currently being a business owner in this County that also lives in the County. May I suggest that you post items that are factual in nature, and refrain from the innuendo. These commissioners made a decision to m

Okay Brett time to walk like you talk, No need to cost the county several hundred thousands of dollars in cost as testified in court yesterday.... Just write the check and keep the work going after all you and Blake did have a hand shake didn't you?

No one even CPR has a clue what the business plan is. WHY???? because they do not have a business plan, Or if they have it is a secret because it has never been published. They never had a plan for the expansion, They did not get the proper permits, nor did they have the financing in place to perform the work. And as of today they still have neither.
-
Yes but......This county cannot afford a legal fight with Hartsfield Jackson airport, The city of Atlanta, And other industries that the County has decided to compete against. I believe the County made a silly and miscalculated decision to compete in this arena.
-
And just think they are using tax dollars to bully citizens, into accepting the expansion of the airport for commercial passenger service that a vast majority of the citizens do not want. And using tax dollars to pay for the expansion itself, When is this madness going to stop.
-
I really was amazed when I looked at the video last night and heard what Mr. Smith said. All this bull chit that was talked about during yesterday's hearing was completely unnecessary, And what made this so bad was Blake Swafford was the star witness for the county yesterday and he was standing right beside Brett Smith at the chamber meeting in December when the statement was made. What is the County, PCAA and the IBA thinking about.... Why would they rather file suit against a group of tax paying citizens as opposed to allowing their "partner" pay for the construction and let him get r

On Wednesday February 5 , 2013 the Paulding County Commissioners, Paulding County Airport authority, And the Paulding County Industrial Building Authority was dealt a severe blow in their effort to stonewall a citizens group from having their day in court. I am sure most of you are aware that a group of citizens intervened in the issuing of a bond for the purpose of widening and extending the taxi way to make the airport capable of providing commercial passenger service. In December 2013 the above case was heard in the Paulding County Superior Court and the judge subsequently ruled that the

Airport discussed at Tuesday's commission meeting
WHITEY replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
Pubby A Boycott is the most effective tool that can be used in a matter like this, particularly when certain business have in fact openly endorsed the airport expansion. At this point in time neither of the leaders of the two groups that are opposing the airport expansion are endorsing a boycott. However if I were running a business in Paulding County I would not lend my name to another full page ad supporting the airport expansion. Since the President/CEO of the Chamber serves on the PCAA and the IBA I do not think it is appropriate that the Chamber use their influence in this matter. -
Just a reminder a hearing today 9:00 AM Judge Beavers Courtroom

Airport discussed at Tuesday's commission meeting
WHITEY replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
Pubby You are really out there now by criticizing Tom Cable in a open forum without a copy of the letter signed by him. Oh well..... Nothing that Todd did or I did was out of order Both addressed the Chairman with a question, Both were allowed to ask the question by the CHAIRMAN chairing the meeting, Both was done in a respectful manner and above all both were done according to "ROBERTS RULE OF ORDER" which is how the meeting was conducted. A court proceeding is not conducted under ROBERTS RULE OF ORDER and for you to inject that into the discussion is really well... silly on your part. -
Airport discussed at Tuesday's commission meeting
WHITEY replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
Oh...... But we did take the necessary steps we submitted three request the day prior to the meeting per the letter received form the attorney representing the PCAA in full compliance with the letter dated November 8, 2013. You will hear Mr. Cables response to this request at the beginning of this tape You see the rules just seem to keep changing. You have no idea who said what after the meeting was adjourned. Both yourself and the PCAA will realize that the citizens have a right to be heard at public meetings. The pro airport group will never silence this movement. If the -

We were promised meeting prior to this that we would be allowed to speak, we submitted the request timely as told.... and we still were not allowed to speak.
