I will have to babble a bit to give you a answer sorry. If your idea of free Enterprise is for a private company like propeller to negotiate a partnership with a public AUTHORITY like the Paulding County Airport Authority. And take over a facility like our $70,000,000 airport to provide among other things commercial passenger service and give the authority 2 1/2 % of the profits generated and the authority will have to provide all related services such as Security, maintenance, fire protection, bonds , tax abatements etc. If that is your idea of free enterprise then no I oppose that

I am very happy the Dave Carmichael quit his term early. The past two BoC meetings is the first time that I feel post one has been represented since 1/1/13. I believe in open government not the shady deals of two day off sites in Douglasville, Or secret negotiations where the citizens do not know what has been negotiated until a year later. If all this was legal can you explain why the PCAA is not willing to tell their side in the courts of Paulding County. I mean after all the county has had 2 1/2 years to prepare the case what is the hold up???

I will be so glad when the airport returns to what we was PROMISED it would be. No need to spend Millions more to see if two flights per week will create the 2,500..... 3,000 jobs the chamber advertised that was coming. Using the scare tactic did not work for him and it won't work for you> Pubby was smart enough to finally realize ( after Blake told him) that the runway as it was built will not handle cargo planes due to the weight. It is also Listed as Paulding County Economic Development and its office is in the Regions Bank Building Which is owned by the tax payers of Paulding County. The tax dollars to fund the operation is budgeted in the normal budgeting process by the Board of commissioners. The budget was cut this past budget year because thousands of dollars was still unspent since the director of the PCED Director was released/Resigned and the job went unfilled for months. I am not sure if this entity was established by the Board of Commissioners. But I am of the opinion that it was. Maybe you know?
