Not many highly skilled jobs there, probably half the work force from Paulding. We have workers that worked in very similar type trades in the auto industry and the aerospace industry that were not hired yet, we provided the land ,sewer, water, and a TAX FREE ENVIROMEMT FROM PAULDING COUNTY TAXES for many years. Our PCED makes no preference to hire county employee's yet dole out some very lucrative tax abatements for many many years. That does not make good economic sense to me.

Check the parking lots at Interoll and the new hospital. I believe you will find that a majority of the car tags are not from Paulding County. We have 10,000 plus folks that commute to Paulding County daily to work Many are County workers from department heads to teachers.

The easiest way to skin this cat is to have an all out WRITE IN CANDIDATE who is completed vetted and capable of doing what is right for all concerned. The language on the reservoir was the same language as the airport which read to issue bonds to buy land to build a reservoir The citizens voted to buy the land for the reservoir and the next meeting ( I believe) or shortly there after the bond was issued to buy land for the reservoir and the land was bought and has already been paid for. About as many times as you say he left in 2002..... Roger was given some special assignments after he got beat and left office effective January 2003. Not to long after he was soundly defeated he was used to have another initiative placed on the Ballot in a special Called election. It was called the "fire tax levy" yep I was told all about that, fact is there was a lot of discussion on that issue right here on P.com.
