  1. Yes I have been there. Prior to the Civil War the house was started by Barnsley. Had plants brought up from all over the world. This house had running water, insoor plumbing, and even hot water. The house was occupied during the War of Northern Agression but sparred. However, his fortunes lost Barnsley's family let the house fall in to a bad way. It collapsed around 1900 from a tornado and was never rebuilt. The remains are there and many of the trees and flowers survived. One of which was a Cedar brought from Israel. Also for you Gone With the Wind fans, M. Mitchell is said to have based her character Rhett Butler after none other than Mr. Barnsley himself!

  2. Smallest ones are small one gallon pindos and windmills. They are $4 each. I have some larger 3 gallon windmills about 30 inches tall with 3 or 4 inches of trunk. These are $15. I also have some small musa banana which are $4 each.

  3. The prom was awesome. As a teacher I love the fact I get to go every year and see all of the kids decked out. It went really well and the students were well behaved! Believe it or not 99% of today's youth are great and it is a pleasure to work with them everyday!

  4. Easter is such an important time to celebrate the Christian faith, but like so many things we have to be careful not to rush through the experience like it was just another "special day."

    Just curious:

    - Did you enjoy church this weekend? Yes

    - Was the Pastor sharing something that was timely for you circumstances? Yes, very (about everyone matters to God)

    - Were the crowds up or down? (up!)

    - Any visitors? (probably)

    - Anything else that is noteworthy?

  5. Still have a good number of hardy palms that grow here in NW Georgia. Will be around this pm and most of tomorrow so pm me if you are interested. Happy Easter!
