Hey I need a DVR but Direct wants 150 for it..Ouch. Any good deals out there (I already have Direct and just wanted to add DVR)?.

HOWEVER, a big belly beat the heck out of a nasty toe sucking anyday. If you are going to caste stones make sure there isnt a boulder on your back...or toe.

I am with you on this one. I have two wonderful kids and my wife was a beautiful mom to be. However, I dont think this is the place and I really dont enjoy seeing it everytime I try to read post.
I know there are some proud mommies-to-be on this site. I am pleading with you! Please leave the pregnant, bloated tummy pics to yourself, your hubby's and family. They are making me sick, quite literally.My wife (who will remain a mystery poster) noticed this and brought it to my attention.
I understand that your husbands tell you that you are "vibrant" and "glowing", but that's just because they do not want to incur your wrath, especially while you are pregnant.
I thought someone should step up to the plate and be honest with you. It's GROSS!
Should I post a pic of the doctor performing that dreaded roto-rooting up my backside for colonic tumors and polyps in classic Discovery channel cinematography?
Look, I'm happy for you, really I am. I could just do without the TMI pics. And for God's sake, PLEASE don't attach any mpg's of the birth!!! Can't these personal matters just stay between the proud parents?

DirectTV is awesome. With the bundle pack our rate with 3 recievers is still only $48. We have everything except premiums. A lot more family channels, and channels such as Hallmark and Boomerang(old cartoons-great!) you cant get on Comcast even for $90!

Plus Atlanta heat island vs. Non-heat island( at least until t he BoC can get us brought into the city of Atlanta and the way we are growing that could be soon.

Havent talked about the the horrible BoC today so here goes. Unlike many areas which are trying to preserve history, civil war history to be exact, our BoC like to follow the City of Atlanta's effort to erase it. If not for the state having set aside Picketts Mill, our county would be wiped clean of our history. Dont believe me? Watch what happens from the new post office (Center of the Battle of Dallas), all the way up 381 to New Hope Church. If Sherman would have been lucky enough to have a Corps under each of the our great leaders, the war might have ended summer of 64.

Thanks. I am glad you liked them. I still have some and hope to get more later. I am trying to get a few larger ones lined up if they want them for park planting, and I am going to look for some more this weekend at the SPEPS Palm show. Any questions on them let me know. I have a feeling we can start plantin in about 3 weeks..hope so anyway.

Believe it or not I love natives as well. I have really tried to shift my palm tree direction to sabal palms and needle palms. Both are native Georgia species and at one time probably lived north of Atlanta in fertile river plains. As a matter of fact there is a huge grove of native palms 15 miles west of Rome in North Alabama. They live in an are called Ballplay Swamp and there is also many spices more inclined to the coast. There are also several alligators that are said to pop their head out come spring. I have never seen those however spanish moss, live oak, and several speices of coastal waterfowl do make themselves seen often.

This is old and actually for personal reasons I see zero humor in it. However, unlike the Muslim world freedom of speech is wonderful.

A lot more undeveloped land in North Florida than North Georgia...and a lot more palm trees!

Remember folks these re already approved devlopments. Our wonderful BoC are not issuing new permits left and right destorying our schools and roads.. Yeah right maybe some people blieve that crap but we know that the BoC are the most out of hand bunch in North Georgia and our kids are the ones suffering. Thanks guys had to get that off my chest before some of the wonderful pcomers rush to defend them (and they will).

Not really but he has this thing for saying palms will not live here and that really bothers me. After 7 years of growing palm trees in nw ga they do work walt. I guess I will have to call him again this spring and rub it in.lol

Hey lady raider I understand your anger. However, you are wasting your breath. This BoC is deaf to everyones problems-except builders! That is what our county continues stupid growth and we set ourselves up for a huge downfall in 10-15 years with our schools and roads. Believe me all you will get is lip service.

All right I am out of school all week, and feeling a little better. Smiles is getting her palms today and I will still have 4 or 5 left. So if you are interested this would be a great week. Just pm me. This is for a great cause and will add a little flavor to your yard as well. This is the rough size of them around 24 inches or so with a 2-4 inch trunk starting.

Many of you have put in orders for palms and I have not forgotten. I have just been so sick, I come home and do very little. I hope you still want your trees, and I am taking good care of them. I will call you over the weekend to get them to you all of you!! Please accept my apology and remember this is for a great cause. I do have 3 or 4 windmill palms so if you are interested just let me know. I have put aside those for you I have been in contact with. Thanks and Sorry again.

The pic on there with the boy standing by it is a windmill palm. If you want other pics go to google and type in Chinese Windmill Palm. I will hold you one. If you want to pm me with a contact # I will see about getting it to you this weekend. This is my favorite palm and does great here! I dont have any sagos for sale but I have a couple in the yard. These are not actually a palm tree but a cycad. They do ok outside in the winter, but it will die back when the sub 20 degree weather hits. It will recover in the spring, but not really an outdoor "palm" for long term success here. i am out of sabal for now except for the ones smiles wants. The other ones I have I am going to give to my seniors this year for them to carry off to college or wherever. I do hope to get more.

Sorry it has been so hectic. Smiles the windmills are now in and I have you 2 and the 4 sabal la. I have 6 of the windmill palms left and all are 15. These are very nice palms and will be ready to take off ccome spring.
