I want to say that the American Legion Riders from Post 111 extended a very warm welcome home to our daughter. I cannot begin to tell you how overwhelmed we were with their kindness and appreciation shown for our daughter's service. I agree that posting pics is a great idea. I have yet to figure out how to post pictures on p.com. I have posted a link to the American Legion Riders Post 111 website which shows some of the pictures taken of my daughter's homecoming celebration. My husband and now my daughter are members of Post 111.

I cannot begin to tell you how overwhelmed I was when I read the posts this afternoon. I posted on p.com because I knew that someone would know where I would be able to locate flags for my daughter's welcome home party. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would receive such wonderful messages of thanks. I plan to print each of them and give them to her upon her return. Her father and I are extremely proud of her service to our country, and we thank you for the many kind words expressed. P.com members ROCK.

I have to make a trip to Target tomorrow. I will look then. Didn't look in the dollar section. And, the dollar store is a great idea. We are so excited to have her on the way home. We will be meeting her on post in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO and then traveling home. Cannot begin to tell you how proud we are of our "soldier girl".

Thank you. I've tried most of the stores around Hiram and Dallas. I was hoping there would be some from the 4th. No luck. I've tried Walmart Hiram, Rockmart, & Villa Rica. I forgot about the one on 120. Thanks.

My daughter is coming home the first week in August. We are planning a welcome home party for family and friends. I have NOT been able to locate the small 4" x 6" American flags. Anyone know where I might be able to find them? Just realized I should have posted this in the Wanted: Goods & Services section. Sorry

Information concerning the funeral arrangements is available on the Etowah High School website. According to the school's home page, the Woodstock Funeral Home is in charge of services. I am providing the link which includes directions. Maybe this will help.
