WHEREABOUTS ON MACLAND ROAD ? Up by the Racetrac ? Somewhere else. WISH THAT PAULDING Would put more lanes in on Macland. Traffic at times is very very long --lines to red lights....etc

Hi again.... We moved here to Hiram 8 years ago from the NORTH. Just had to get new glasses and was informed I have cataracts.....which I did not have two years ago. Optometrist said maybe 2 yrs would have to have them removed. He recommends a clinic near Northside Hospital ..but we do NOT not to travel all the way over there....horrible traffic ! ! ! Can anyone here recommend an Opthamologist who has good reputation for cataract surgery close to Hiram.... say Marietta or Acworth ..etc. ???? I want to see one soon to have questions addressed. HEY EVERYONE..... :p We have lived here over 7 years and are going up to Harrahs Cherokee for the FIRST TIME on Wednesday JUNE 20. We live in Hiram ....and I would like to know what ROUTE you would suggest we take. I was expecting to head up Barrett Parkway to Woodstock and then go from there..... Im not sure of Route Numbers ......but we do have a GPS. SOMEONE told me to go to Interstate 85 and then go across from there at some point. I see there are various ways to get there. Hubby is doing all the driving..... I JUST WANT SAFE ROADS AND NOT CRAPPY ROADS. WHAT WOULD YOU SUGGEST ??

Last week, someone told my husband that a hamburger place was going in where Pollo Tropical was in Hiram. Anyone know anything about that ? We also heard Old Navy was going into the shopping plaza...as well as Bath and Beauty Works and Ulta. But ...you probably all know that already. Im rarely in here.

SORRY....if this is posted in wrong area. I seldom come in here to ask anything. We have only been here 7 years.... coming from New York State. REALLY WISH THIS AREA HAD A CASINO for PETE's SAKE ! ! We want to go to Harrahs Cherokee Casino and I would like to know which way has the best roads ? The Google Maps gives me 3 route options. I don't want a lot of narrow roads if you know what I mean. Not interested in shortest time....but the best...safest route. THANKS VERY MUCH FOR HELPING ! ! :)

Im sorry if this question has already been asked.....Im not on here too often. We see there is a NEW buffet in Hiram where that Great China Buffet was. Dont know name of the strip but it's near the Rite Aid... A Chinese -- Hibachi place.....ICHIBAN BUFFET. WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS GONE THERE RECENTLY ? AND WHAT YOU THINK. We live in Hiram off Poplar Springs road and frequently use Macland Road. (RT 360) My husband has heard a number of times from a few guys that Macland Road is supposed to be made a 4 lane at least from Paulding County line to the Route 92 intersection . We've been hearing this for the last 2 years. Does anyone know if this is just a rumor or is it true ? Right now the 4 lane on Macland goes all the way from Windy Hill Rd connector to the Kroger on Macland Rd......then Macland reduces to a two land lane road the rest of the way in Paulding County. Seems stupid they didn't cont
