  1. No it's not the aspirin. And it's not the Tylenol. It's the butalbital. It says it CAN effect birth control effectiveness. It warns not to take it while pregnant or nursing. It's a class C drug. These are the common names of Tylenol/butalbital/caffine Anolor 300, Dolgic LQ, Esgic, Fioricet, Geone, Margesic, Medigesic, Repan, Zebutal, Esgic-Plus, Arcet, Isocet, Pharmagesic, Anoquan, Two-Dyne, Tenake, Femcet, Tencet, Triad, Fiorpap, Dolmar, Endolor, Ezol, Ide-cet, G-1, Minotal, Mygracet, Pacaps, Alagesic, Americet, Nonbac, Dolgic Plus
  2. Photobucket is easier and you don't have to re-size. Just copy the IMG and paste
  3. I think because of the rain, the field lines are not able to drain properly and that's why your tank may be full. Drier weather is supposed to be here tomorrow and sunshine finally by Wednesday. Hopefully it will get better. I know we've had so much rain, my lake is above full level, so I know my yard is saturated.
  4. Leftover soup and another fire. It seems like Jenilyn cooks every night and it's always something different and sometimes exotic! I swear, I just get tired of trying to think of something to eat.
  5. And see, that's what I don't understand. How can there be such a discrepancy? While working under BellSouth I had BC/BS of GA and it paid good. When AT&T took over it went to BC/BS of Illinois PPO and it was awful. I had to pay so much more than I ever did. Why couldn't she keep BC/BS that she had before? Why did she have to switch? Just because she moved.
  6. Tell me what you think Carson will/can do to solve this problem. Of course I'm concerned about ISIS. Very concerned. They have to be killed and there will be collateral damage. Who's willing to do that? I understand that as well. But I will at least admit when my candidate/president has shortcomings.
  7. There are plenty of sites that advise using extra protection while on antibiotics. And there are warnings about not taking St. John's Wart, it can make birth control ineffective. But nothing about aspirin.
  8. Ok. I'll give you that. What about Mannatech, where they took his page down only a month ago?
  9. Ewww! I read that last week on yahoo and thought....well, never mind what I thought. Just ewwww
  10. You know I love ya man, but I just can't roll with this one.
  11. I haven't called him a liar. I've accused him of not doing his research in preparation to write a book. I've questioned why he is avoiding the truth of his relationship with Mannatech. The $2.5 million chair he says they contributed only to be refuted by his handlers as having a "bad memory".
  12. Again, there is an issue as to who offered it and when. Carson says Westmoreland. The folks checked Westmorelands calendar and time line and was not at a function during the timeframe Carson claims. Carson's folks again say it's just bad memory. The info is out there. I'm on my iPhone and out and about and don't feel like trying to link it. I understand memory issues but Dayum just admit it. But then of course, if I were a gifted surgeon making hundreds of thousands of dollars for speeches and worth millions, I would keep better notes.
  13. I can't find anywhere that aspirin makes birth control ineffective. St. John's Wart does. Do you have a link? In fact, baby aspirin is recommended while on birth control to prevent blood clots that can lead to stroke. http://www.houstonfertilityspecialist.com/articles/art_contraceptives.html
  14. Maybe not being associated with Mannatech?
  15. I think she would be fun, I think public life was hard for her but she handled herself well. She would probably offer a Long Island Iced Tea while sitting in that Texas back yard under some huge Oaks.
  16. I would hang with Laura Bush or even Barbara Bush, but Nancy was a snob. To have known Jackie and/or Jack Kennedy would have been a dream come true. There will never be another like Jackie. In public or private life. We actually went on vacation to DC in 1963 and my mother took a picture of them in the back yard with Macaroni. ETA: Both my parents voted for Kennedy, and you gotta remember that in the South it was tough admitting you voted for a Catholic. The entire side of my mother's family couldn't stand him. They were all Baptist.
  17. I'm outta likes. I know this is not politically correct, but she really comes across as an angry Black woman.
  18. Ok, I see what you're saying, but being as well educated as he is and as smart as he is, why didn't he provide this proof for his books and he wouldn't be going through this now.
  19. See, I don't really see it as proof of anything, except he is back tracking and making excuses for a poor memory and/or sloppy writing. The Journal looked into Carson's claim of attending a class called Perceptions 301, in which he said a teacher tricked the students into marching out of the room while he stayed and was photographed for the Yale student newspaper. The Journal reported that no such class existed and couldn't find the photograph in the newspaper's archives. But Carson said Sunday on ABC that he didn't remember the course number and his coauthor had added the number to gi
  20. Good for you! We all need a re-charge, I need one right now after 10-11-12 days of rain and gray skies...........I hate winter.
  21. Thank you. I'll suggest it to my husband.
  22. This was in the news a week or so ago before this thing broke about West Point. I wondered at the time, how do you confuse how you got your $2.5 million chair? His statements bothered me then and still do. And I don't understand why he keeps denying his association with Mannatech when he had one for years. Carson delivered the keynote address at a Mannatech distributor convention in 2011 during which he claimed that the company had donated funds to help him get a coveted endowed chair post at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Carson had stated "well three years ago I had an endowed chair
  23. That's great! Do you feel better? Like you're getting enough sleep? Do you find yourself trying to push the appliance out?
