It's way laid back down here. No traffic and no problem with the kids walking the streets. Cars go slow and the beaches are not crowed. Now in September during Fall break we will go to the holiday inn resort in PCB. Off season so much cheaper and they have a wonderful water park for the 4 YO. And Polynesian dancers. Beautiful pool with a waterfall and 2 huge jacuzzis.

Great pictures! I love the turtles. LOL I'll post some tomorrow. From what I hear everyone around here is SICK of the rain. There's standing water everywhere (giant mosquitos come to mind) and if you noticed the water, it's brown from the storm turbulence. We're riding down to Port St Joe one day to the park so that should make nice pictures.

I have from the way she's taking care of him to what they are doing with the money and why do they need money. I have 5 tomato plants LOADED and praying all the rain doesn't cause them to rot. I have so many "just beginning to turn" so I'm praying for sunshine SOON !!!! I do because I like a lot of crusty brown topping. LOL And I sprinkle the top with the big granule raw sugar before I put it in to cook. I sprinkle that on top of my muffins too before I cook them. OMG now I want a peach cobbler!!

I've always used the 1 cup method. 1 cup of flour (self rising), 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of milk and a stick of butter. Melt the butter, mix the ingredients, pour into butter then add peaches. Some brown sugar would probably be good mixed in with the peaches, I'll have to try that next time, but I don't use cinnamon. Personal preference. I don't like it in a peach cobbler. Normally I use buttermilk for baking but not for a cobbler, I've tried it and don't like it. Good luck.

I love fireworks, we had tons in our neighborhood last night, and I thought somebody spent a bunch of money in Alabama. I don't know why in the world they're not legal here. They sell that crap at Walmart and those roadside places, why not make them legal and sell the real deal?? .

I don't eat rice, that's probably why I've never fixed it or tried it. I do fix basmati rice for my husband. He grew up eating tons of rice. We never had rice, we always had some kind of potato. Even when I went to my Italian girlfriend's house and she showed me how to make risotto, I've never made it. After all that work it still was just rice.

(The Crazies house) And it was awesome to just come with Tripp and a diaper bag. I didn't bring his meds, his feeding machine, his monitor or his oxygen machine. Dang, I had to look up paella. It's a Spanish dish made with rice hundreds of way, mostly seafood. How did you make yours? We went to the Marietta Diner and OMG it was good as usual. We had Matzo ball soup, huge salad, fresh baked bread and I had a pasta dish with shrimp, scallops, garlic, basil, tomatoes in a wine sauce. I came home in a food coma and took a nap. This is so cool! I just had to share............... Tripp Halstead Updates about an hour ago. Stacy: This picture might not look like much but this is huge. Tripp is doing therapy with his nurse this morning and we are finally getting his legs to bend. And he is watching TV. I love love love this picture. It shows how far he has come.
