Now that I can agree with, might as well legalize it. I was reading a few weeks back that NYC has chosen to not arrest recreational users and they are experiencing fewer arrests for pot and more room in the jails. Just a thought.

You know, this got me to thinking about folks with terminal illnesses back in the day. You know when you couldn't have the pain meds you needed? Because you would get addicted? WTH? What does it matter? Thank goodness, by the time my husband was terminal and died in 1998, he had all the morphine tablets he needed and went on a morphine pump 3 months before he died. Times have to change when it comes to treating the ill and terminally ill. This scene has always stayed in my head. I put a bowl out for the gandbaby, he wants some snow cream, but the snow has stopped for now. I doubt if we get that much.

Speaking of ducks, spring IS on the way. I saw our Divers Duck that comes through every sping on his way to somewhere. I can't get a picture, he's out in the water diving, but up close he's brown, kinda squaty and has a different, smaller beak.

STATE OF EMERGENCY In response to the winter storm warning declared for 50 coutnies in the northern part of Georgia, Gov. Nathan Deal ordered state government offices in the affected areas to close at noon tomorrow and declared a state of emergency for disaster preparedness starting at 2 p.m. Wednesday. I saw this on WSB so that means there won't be makeup days, right? Anywho, FB is full of people arguing that everyone is over-reacting and then those that spent hours last year trying to get home or get to their kids. I guess folks will argue over any and everything. LO
