It's my stall tactic. You wouldn't believe the delays to dancing I can come up with. -
S/O HOA's (Home Owner's Associations)

Lawn Nazi... I don't think so, but it's possible. I'll have to do some soul searching to figure it out. Done. Yes, I think I may be a lawn Nazi. I'm not sure what it is about the video that made her leave, and I sure didn't ask. Gift horse's mouth and all that. I do not currently play golf, but I'm asked that enough that I should probably pick it up. I'm not very comfortable with moving my hips independently from the rest of my body though. My partner tried to get me to learn salsa dancing, but I have no rhythm and didn't want to move my hips. She finally gave up and left me -

I don't mind HOAs so much if they're doing something. I'm on a mission to get mine active. I've bookmarked this thread because the video makes my partner leave the room. Could definitely be handy sometime. -
Their Managing Director, Brett Smith, went to Emory. He's kind of a local fellow, I suppose. Looks like investing in rural airports is their jam. Maybe they'd be good at it if people actually want it to happen. More likely they'll scoot on out of here since people have taken to FAA complaints and the such.

Maybe you did something real good, and this is your "vacation life".

"Foreign corporation" is just a designation by the Secretaries of State for companies that do business in a state where they do not originate. Actually, Propeller isn't even registered as a foreign corporation with the GA SoS, so they must not have staff here at all. Edit: You'd think that if they're any kind of real investment entity that they could invest in a decent web site...

I blame the system that forces educators to focus on those aspects of "learning". I know several teachers, and, to the person, they say that any ability to truly teach and influence children has been taken away by federal mandates to focus on testing. They feel just as trapped as the parents do.

A high probability of ending up as a tourism facilitator is probably not a great motivator for hard work in school. Poor Kiwis.

So, most people aren't really against airport expansion, they're against the way that the county officials went about it and who's been designated as management? I may be off, but that's the way it seems. If so, why don't they just form a task force with people from both sides who sit at a table and figure it out so that the commercialization can happen in a way that makes more sense and has input from the concerned? If they don't they'll just lose their jobs. Oh...right... Now that's some important information that I will need as well.

Is there some sort of chart or visual aid that a person can look at to get the pros/cons of this airport expansion. I've read through all of these threads and asked around about this, but all I get is emotional hoopla as a response. I really don't have time to read 789 page reports or browse through seven extreme Fox News stories and seven extreme Huffington Post stories to try and figure out what the real story is either. I like to be an informed citizen, but my goodness no one can actually tell me what this airport expansion is all about without mentioning political opponents and why t

Oh man. I actually fell for one of them. Paint me forum nub, I guess.

Will Mike Vick ever be a starting QB again?
Inconceivable replied to cookies are sweet's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Those $99 season tickets...man, I miss them. Vick was never a good player, but he was exciting to watch. Everyone just saw the highlights and said, "ohmygoshhe'sfrigganamazeballs!!!!!" No he wasn't. He wasn't even average, and he shot all of us in the stands a bird in 2006 for letting him know what we really think. Constantly hurt + terrible attitude + interception stat booster + explosive, exciting plays = "you paid what to get your team's jersey on some highlight reels?!" I was at the game in 2011 when we laid him out and was the first to cheer when he stayed down and booed the l -

Seems to me that if a student goes all the way through high school with As & Bs then can't pass a math test that maybe they're handing out As & Bs a little too easily.

I lived in the apartment complex across from Mink's for a couple years. During that time was when the powers that be saw fit to shuttle all the Katrina refugees up from New Orleans. That place got real real fast.

In Defense of United Paulding Taxi
Inconceivable replied to truckman42's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I generally agree with you, but I'm going to be Devil's advocate for a second: I've never called for a taxi and known what was coming before it showed up at my door. Also, if you take a taxi from the airport, you don't get to pick which one you get in. You get a ticket at the booth and whichever car is next is your ride. If my daughter flies in and is taking a taxi, I sure want that driver & car regulated by someone. Your argument assumes that all business owners are honest & responsible, like the company that we're talking about here, but unfortunately most are not. Ten years- 32 replies

When my son was about four, he asked me if I was his friend. I told him, "No. I like you, and you're becoming a fine person. But, it's my job to be your dad and help guide you the rest of the way there, not be your friend." He's ten now and doesn't seem to have any "daddy" issues yet because of that response. We actually have quite a good relationship as father and son rather than friends.
