It should be more than obvious why they agreed to the settlement...The AA, The BOC, and THE FAA all know that this is a DONE DEAL...The FAA is going to sign off on the NEW environmental study. This is just a "blip" on the FAA timetable...BUT what the bigger issue is, is because of the delay your group has caused the BID process for the new equipment and the station to slide past the contracted date and this will now cost the citizens of PAULDING additional $$$ for the SAME equipment and facility they would be well on the way to having in place

<br /><br /><br /> If I hadn't seen ya'll at the meetings I would say...YOU CAN'T BE THAT STUPID!...but I know you actually can. The FAA approved a FIRE STATION, whether it would service a General Aviation or a commercial airport didn't matter! It would / could have the SAME TYPE equipment! Your group / DELTA's lawsuit has much more FAR REACHING issues...you are both effecting the safety of West Paulding residents as well as causing undue and unneeded additional tax burdens. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!!

<br /><br /><br /> I would be VERY CAREFUL if I was your group "WHITEY" as making direct threats to a business and it's owners, and / or directing your followers to do same may very well open your group to a lawsuit that DELTA will not help you fund and suddenly you and the others actually have to open your checkbooks as well as your mouths!!

I have NO connection to ANY of the boards, elected officials, etc. I have 2 kids who both went thru elementary, Middle & High school here in Paulding. Our family buys groceries,trade with many local merchants monthly and ALWAYS try to use a Paulding County business whenever possible for our needs. When we moved here Paulding was a community of less than 30,000 and now has grown to over 155

<br /><br /><br /> "Tundra" you are right DELTA'S impact is indeed FAR REACHING...Now it's reaching into 155,000+ Paulding County residents pockets as we are having to fund the County's side of this "FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT" that DELTA is funding for your STOP ALL PROGRESS IN PAULDING COUNTY group. ***Frivolous lawsuit is defined as: The practice of starting or carrying on lawsuits that, due to their lack of legal merit, have little to no chance of being won!

<br /><br /><br /> We DO NOT get ANY of the benefits...whatever you feel they are...ALL the homeowners of PAULDING get is the benefit of HIGHER taxes because of the extremely low business / industry related tax base. The "STOP THE PROGRESS IN PAULDING" group is now causing the folks in WEST Paulding to have to pay HIGHER insurance rates due to the lawsuit stalling out the badly needed fire station. The Airport fire station would offer not only a centrally located station but provide fire protection for BOTH the airport and the surrounding communities!

<br /><br /><br /> Well "WHITEY" since your group is SO sure that the Airport is going to DESTROY the land and pollute the environment it's being built on then the "owner" of the property is being VERY STUPID in holding out selling the land. He should take the County's best offer...and RUN LIKE HELL as fast as he can away from this budding disaster! GEEZ! Ya'll are amazing when it comes to logic!

Having DELTA (and the CITY of ATLANTA) coming out publicly against our AIRPORT is PROOF that they KNOW the AIRPORT will be a success and they know they HAVE to STOP IT!!! TODAY the citizens of PAULDING COUNTY won ANOTHER victory against the STOP PROGRESS group!

Review the 5 YEAR PLAN! You will quickly see the thought and planning being put into this venture! DO NOT just read a few post from the group that opposes VIRTUALLY EVERY DECISION our county leaders make on our behalf...
