1. I refer you to the following article on Jan. 28th that appeared in the Dallas / Hiram Patch: No dump in Hiram. Posted by Andrew , January 26, 2014 at 02:35 PMComment8156More A local businessman, Ron Crist, wants to open a waste facility in Hiram. The waste facility will be behind Hiram Elementary school....parents & teachers do you really want this? Waste, hazardous materials, increased traffic?? Contact elected officials and tell them no waste facility in Hiram. Thank-you very much.****************************************************************They ran another article on Feb. 9t
 2. If you don't think DELTA has highly paid lobbyist at the capitol RIGHT NOW working the system then you really are out in "left field"...so ANYTHING PAULDING can do to shore up it's views are not only necessary but NEEDED!!!
 3. NICE TRY but again an attempt at MISINFORMATION...the article is 100% about the problems with a decline in small plane PILOTS but is in NO WAY discussing COMMERCIAL AVIATION offering passenger service! The article concerns INDIVIDUAL ownership of private planes!
 4. You are trying to turn the post into a different direction, WHAT we were discussing is the comment from David yesterday about the supposed "boycott" and my comment concerned how little / few businesses felt affected by it. I also commented on how YOUR group had tried and commented on here what they had said to LOCAL business owners. and we ALL realize that DELTA does not have offices in Paulding!
 5. Sure a MESS created by the STOP ALL PROGRESS IN PAULDING group and supported by TODD POWNALL who is offended that since he couldn't be trusted to confidentiality issues was LEFT OUT of negotiations...
 6. Realistic or lightly veiled...Several on here have publicly stated that they ASK a business how they stand on the Airport issue and if it's not EXACTLY like they want (AGAINST) then they walk away from the business. Someone on here recently stated they told a heating and air company they would not do business with them because they supported the airport. I have personally talked with numerous business owners in Paulding and only one said someone had mentioned this to her and she said she had NEVER seen this person in her business before so she didn't think she lost any business. The AC
 7. I love reading your thoughtless post...."UNSAFE CONDITION" was simply Politi-speak so that the commissioners could sign off on the new funding and allow the construction to CONTINUE moving forward. I have been patronizing you and your little group on here now for weeks but it's time to STOP doing so...You folks REALLY need to wake up and see that NOTHING is going to stop the AIRPORT from moving forward and introducing COMMERCIAL flights...THIS IS A DONE DEAL!!!! With the amount of $$$$ already spent do you REALLY think it is just going to be abandoned...I suggest you begin looking for a
 8. Nice NEGATIVE "SPIN" but of course again ALL WRONG as usual! What happened was the Airport moved forward KNOWING they would get the funding needed...they have anticipated your groups moves right from the start and have NEVER had ANY intention of stalling ANY of the progress currently going on at the Airport. EVERYONE knows the outcome of the FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT as well as that the FAA will be soon signing off on the environmental study and then all this will finally be put behind us. THANKS AGAIN to the 4 commissioners who helped move PAULDING forward and Todd you again played to your sm
 9. Better yet Crist Roofing is applying to the City of Hiram for a permit to build a DUMP site with the City Limits of Hiram...Let's allow him to put his DUMP SITE which will except all kinds of Residential & Commercial trash from construction material to demolition material containing asbestos, lead, etc. Let's see how they feel about drainage and runoff from this type business... Additionally if they are SO worried about a few flights a day, how bout CONSTANT in and out from large truck traffic...dumping and grading noise, etc. I suspect a clean FIRST CLASS Airport is looking REAL
 10. The BOC meeting today moved our NEW SILVER COMET FIELD yet another step forward towards the FIRST commercial flights...COMING SOON! 4 of our County leaders voted to continue the funding of the airport expansion by using $$$$ from the general fund to cover the $$$$ that would have been paid thru the bond issue. As everyone knows the bond $$$$ are currently on hold due to the FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT brought against the county by a couple of residents and pending the lawsuit resolution the work has to continue. The action today by 4 of our commissioners shows the forward and progressive thinking
 11.

I looked up your words you used...OBNOXIOUS...RUDE...CREDIBILITY...VENOM & UNCOUTH... and...SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE...YOUR NAME COMES UP EVERY TIME in the definitions!!!! So you have a good OBNOXIOUS RUDE UNCOUTH VENOMOUS with NO CREDIBILITY day!
 12.

Don't worry bout this ole' boy...We are sitting in front of a roaring fire...sipping a glass of wine, we cook with gas so are OK there also. Have a nice dinner cooking in the crock pot and as long as the power stays on for about another hour and half that will be ready for later today. FYI...You really don't need to keep posting your name & #...everyone already knew who you were!...
 13.

This info came STRAIGHT from the FAA site...HOW much more research could you want!!! GOD you people are absolutely impossible to deal with...even when confronted with ACTUAL facts you want to argue about it. Then you wonder why folks want sit down with you and your group!
 14. That's right and you make my point for me...we BUILD on the General Aviation side and then ADD IN the additional $$$$ Commercial for the BEST of both sides...
 15.

WELL like it or NOT...without this FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT you go to bed each night dreaming about...the FUNDING WOULD HAVE BEEN IN PLACE!!! Don't forget to mention that!!!
 16.

Information supplied by FAA as follows: McCollum Field opened in 1960...The airport has approximately 358 aircraft based on it, is owned by Cobb County, it is managed by a full-time airport manager, the airport employs almost 185 people, and had an annual economic impact of more than $59 million to the local economy as of 2012. That is only the DIRECT job impact...the INDIRECT job impact from businesses around the airport is MILLIONS of additional $$$ and jobs! Of course I realize this means NOTHING to you since you might have to see PAULDING
 17.

Do ACTUALLY think McCollum Field in Kennesaw is LOSING $$$?
 18.

Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, Panama City, Biloxi, New Orleans, just to name a few of the locations that would fit nicely for an Airline to use Silver Comet Field for.....not to mention Charter flights...
 19.

As soon as this FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT is finally put to bed the County can sign off on the paperwork to begin bringing in quality Commercial flights. At the present timetable they are looking at early Fall for the first flights to begin.
 20.

OK...So SNAP on your OVERALLS...spit twice...grab a MASON JAR of "SHINE"...Jump into your beater pick-up...and HEAD OFF to the polls to keep voting to STOP ALL PROGRESS IN PAULDING!!!
 21.

It's TIME to start SUPPORTING the folks who are TRYING to make decisions for the FUTURE of PAULDING COUNTY!
 22. YES "Tundra" ...MANY MANY folks are now paying attention and they are LINING UP in support of our County Leaders!!! DELTA, their lawyers and the MISINFORMED few in the "STOP ALL PROGRESS IN PAULDING" will soon be able to take a leisure flight from PAULDING COUNTY at SILVER COMET FIELD!!!
 23.

" refuse to allow citizens to question the scheme in the PCAA meeting " They have told your group REPEATADLY that the PCAA monthly Board Meetings are just that...WORKING sessions for the Board to meet and make the decisions they are supposed to be making. These meeting are NOT designed or set up (in spite of ya'll telling every media outlet that will listen) to be Q & A sessions for public input! How hard is that to understand!
 24.

Well while David was in the Real Estate business prior to being elected I have a LOT bigger problem with Jerry and how he allowed cow pasture after cow pasture, wooded acreage after wooded acreage to be graded off and subdivisions begun on them. Some were finished and finished very nicely but MOST were left with many undeveloped lots, pvc pipes sticking in the air, half paved, etc. WAY too many houses were allowed to be built too fast and too close together on too small of lot space, this created mega profits to many developers but accounts for many of
 25.

I go back to the days when the Chamber was located above the old building close to the fork near Old Town Dallas. The Chamber functions and lunches are nothing more than meet and greet for the same group and you could sit at one table the number of ACTUAL small business owners that attend. It is a WASTE of their time and the ONLY time you will see Chamber staff is when they come by for the next years check. You are being smart not to renew.

Of COURSE he doesn't, he is probably a VERY GOOD LAWYER...But you miss
