Georgia man stands ground, result 72 yr old vet with Alzheimer's dead

I really hate to tell you this... but that gun did not fire by itself. He pulled the trigger and it failed to fire in an expected amount of time. He then did something completely stupid and negligent. And BTW, this sort of misfire is almost always the fault of the ammunition and not the firearm. But thanks for playing! -

And where has ANYONE said that "everyone" should have a gun at the ready? However, that right comes with a little thing on the end... "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED." Apparently, you don't know what that means? Stop your left winged twist things around to suit your agenda bullcheeze. Your ignorance is astounding! Do you have any clue as to why there is resistance? Do you know this technology was first presented to the law enforcement community to help prevent police officers from having their pistol taken from them in a struggle and turned against them? The police officers th -

Did he get a DUI or a PUI (Pedestrian Under the Influence) ? The law says that you shall now walk or be upon the roadway or shoulder of any roadway, while under the influence. Who knows.. was it a small town kangaroo court that makes their own rulings? Did he appeal? -

Nope, not in Georgia. If the keys are in the ignition, you are behind the wheel, and you are over the limit, you are DUI. Nope again. Police carry portable breathalyzers and do field sobriety tests. When you are that drunk, the smell gives you away (IE: probable cause). -

Yep, you are definitely poised on throwing out wrong information. First, driving is NOT a right. Secondly, the DUI BAC limit is .08. Well, you'd be wrong there too. There's a whole list of things that you can be charged with while riding drunk. 1. Operating less safe 2 Pedistrian under the influence 3. Being drunk in public 4. Disregard and negligence. Wrong again. It's illegal to carry in to a bar unless you have specific and written permission from the owner. Nobody has called you a name. I said you are ignorant on the subject matter. Bei -

Another ignorant statement. No, "IT" did not kill his son. His son killed himself. You think you'd be safe from being sued by a drunk wandering on to YOUR property, tripping, and slamming his head in to a sharp corner on your deck too, wouldn't you? Guess what? You're not. He's trespassing, he's drunk, and yet you can be liable for all his medical bills because he was on your property. Again, we go back to personal responsibility. -

You are really reaching now, aren't you? Did you know that driving and/or drinking is not protected in the Constitution of the United States? Did you know that any time you are DUI while driving, you are committing a crime? Did you know that any citizen of this state can apply and be granted a weapons permit? Did you know that no matter what you do, you can't get a permit to be DUI? Did you know that more people are killed by drunk drivers every year than firearms? I don't see you going off on them trying to get alcohol banned. The more you try to defend your agenda, the more ig -
Those channels are the standard for digital broadcast. To get back to 'regular' channels, you'll have to get a box from your provider. If you are using regular aerial antenna reception, that is the channel standard that is used now.

They are transferred just like any other title. The title is the same piece of paper, it just says "salvaged" on it. BTW, once I got the salvaged title on it from the insurance company and had the car inspected, the inspection station sent their report and my salvaged title off to the state. The title I received a couple of weeks later is a standard title and says "Salvage" no where on it. I didn't notice any difference in my insurance at all. However, my car is a '91 and isn't worth much on blue book value. I don't think they would let you do that, but if they did, I'm

In Georgia, GSP does not do this. You have to go to a privately owned state licensed salvage-rebuild inspection station. They collect the state fees associated with the inspection, as well as their own inspection fee.

First, there's no such thing as an accidental gun shot or death from such. It's an easy cop out for people to say it was "accidental" because they don't want to take responsibility for their lack of regard and their own negligence. Secondly, if guns were removed from the picture, the number of suicides would not drop. Someone intent on committing suicide would simply find another way, like jump off a building, dart out in front of a bus, etc. This may be a shock to you, but people committed suicide long before firearms were invented. -

What a total crock of sheeze! Sorry, not true. Many people forget they are carrying. Go to the airport and sit at the security gate for a while. It happens quite a bit. Bullcheeze. I carry every single day and I go about with not a care in the world. I am no more on edge when I am carrying than when I am not. Where I am more on edge is when I am in an environment that makes me feel that way, NOT whether I am carrying or not. You shouldn't generalize what people feel to everyone just because you did. That statement is bologna. That's your insecu -

Well, this guy is only 67 years old... but tell me this guy doesn't possess the ability to attack you bad enough to warrant being beaten to the death with a bat? ...and before you start twisting what I'm saying around... I'm not talking about this situation in the video. Simply that the man, if he wanted too, would be capable to beating you to a pulp. I know several people over 70 that I wouldn't tangle with... Just because a vehicle has a salvaged titled doesn't mean it has any kind of inherent problems. The main reason that cars have salvage titles is when an cost of a repair exceeds (usually 80%) a certain value of the car. I have a small car that I was involved in an accident where a lady dented my fender. The insurance company totaled the car. The value of the car was about $900 but to replace the fender, paint it, blend it, stripe it, and get the emblems was going to be about $1200... so they totaled the car. They payed me what the car was worth and I bought the car back from them f

"But what if... " Why don't you use the facts, instead of "But what if.." ? Firearms are used in illegal activities approximately 22 times per day, across the WHOLE country. Firearms are used to legally defend or thwart crimes over 6800 times per day across the whole country. Well no freaking duh! Any knucklehead can figure out that out. Guess what? People who drive automobiles are more likely to be involved in an automobile accident too! OMG, SHOCKING NEWS! It doesn't matter what the "What if" statistic is because it's more like 1:310 You can play what -
Been a while since I told of patients in our office

Right, the bottle of water should be ok... just be polite if you are asked to rid of it because of their policy says no food or drink and water is a drink. With that said, the problem with food and drink is not that it gets spilled. The problem is that it is a contamination of an fairly sanitary environment. Other patients are in there and the odor from food and drink can cause reactions in some people who already sick and/or cause some tests to be thrown off. Especially, if someone is there for allergy testing. -

I would never bring anything to drink or eat in to a doctor's office to begin with.... Why don't you talk to your doctor about putting a sign up about no eating or drinking? It's a doctor's office, one would expect it to be relatively sanitary. -

Really? Ask Diane Feinstein what she wants. You keep saying that nobody wants to take all the guns and yet you are so wrong. Diane Feinstein has been trying to ban ALL firearms for quite a while, she just never gets enough support to do it. She specifically stated she wanted them all. The last time I checked, this is still the United States of America. We do not punish people or take away their rights because of what they *MIGHT* do. We punish people WHEN they perform a criminal act. -
Yeah, it is something to be wondered, but then again, it is APD. I don't think they rank very high in the SWAT competitions.

Sorry, I never said you were anything. Re-read. And this again, is exactly what I am talking about. I guarantee you that if I see the area you describe, there IS a way. Just because YOU don't know how to clear an open out doorway with another cross entry doorway, doesn't mean it can't be done. And with that, you have exactly proven my point. #1. You wouldn't step out into the doorway, no matter what, if you can't see. You ALWAYS stay behind cover. #2. There's a thing called "slicing the pie" and if used properly you CAN see enough to move to another location. #3.
