First, check the box along the left next to the first email you want to select. Then, go down to the last email in the group that you want, press and HOLD the shift key and click the check box for that one and all emails within the range will be selected. I tried it on all the major browsers to ensure it was still working.

You have to RIGHT-click (use the other button on your mouse). When you right-click, a menu will open up and give you a list of options. One of those options will be to "open in new window." Use your LEFT-mouse button to select the appropriate option. Either one will leave the P.com window open. However, when you do this, the new window may cover up the still-opened P.com window and once you close it, you should see the P.com window again. Hope this helps...
