This reminds me of a conversation I had with someone recently about his experience with a sociopath. He made the point that a sociopath would rather tell a lie than the truth even when the truth would serve him better. Seems to me there is plenty enough going on in the Middle East without imagining some ridiculous war between Russia and Israel. Knowing full well a war with Israel is tantamount to a war with the United States what could Russia possibly hope to gain ? Btw Russia and Syria have had a relationship for decades one that goes back long before Syria's civil war ever began.

During the War in Vietnam the United States dropped more TNT on the little country of North Vietnam than all of the explosives dropped on Nazi Germany during World War Two, how did that work out for you ? Edited to add the word "Dumbass".
