"There you go again." Ronald Reagan TRUMP: You know, it's interesting, I've been now around long -- you know, I think of myself as a young guy, but I'm not so young anymore. And I've been around for a long time. And it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans. Now, it shouldn't be that way. But if you go back, I mean it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats...

More Frequent and Severe El Niños ExpectedSince 1976, El Niños have become more common, longer, and more intense," says Daniel Schrag, associate professor of geochemistry. "We have made new observations that may explain why this happened." Schrag thinks the change may be related to global warming. Earth's temperature has been rising since 1976, particularly in the 1990s, which have seen the hottest years on record. At the same time, the two largest known El Niños took place in 1982-83 and 1997-98. http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/1998/09.24/MoreFrequentand.html

The country certainly is divided along party lines, racial lines social and economic. Specifically I would be interest to know what you think Obama has done in the last seven years to cause this great divide.

1. Gates was detained and questioned for entering his own house for God's sake. 2. With all the shootings and unrest we have seen in the last couple of years is the word "troubling" out of line? You said he's made unfounded statements, so tell me what's the problem ?

I don't presume to speak for LPPT but I think she was speaking in generalities not at anyone specifically.

Squirrel attacksThere are plenty of things to be scared of in this world: terrorism and natural disasters to name a few. But residents of Marin County have to add squirrels to the list after the ferocious rodents have jumped on and bitten eight people in recent weeks. “The attacks are described as a squirrel suddenly running up to the victims, crawling up their bodies, and biting them in various areas,” the humane society said in a statement, noting that victims have suffered injuries to their hands, arms, legs and head. At least eight people have been injured, with one requiring a tr

That is the difference between France and the United States. When you live in a country where mass murders are a common everyday event it's hard to put your finger on which is which.

Republicans approve gun sales to suspected terrorist. GOP blocks efforts to deny guns to those on terrorist watch listsRepublicans blocked the bill again Thursday, without debate, fending off efforts by Democrats to pass the Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2015, sponsored by Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., and Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., who had introduced the bill in February. http://www.sfgate.com/nation/article/GOP-blocks-efforts-to-deny-guns-to-those-on-6674203.php

My first question is unless he has his burka clad wife in tow how do you identify a Middle Eastern man as opposed to say any mediterranean Italian, Spanish or man from India ? In Alabama a old man, who spoke little english, was visiting his son was a victim of profiling and had to have surgery to treat his injuries because of it. The Indian man was left partially paralyzed after his confrontation with Parker. The case, one of several over the past year involving police has sparked more debate over racial profiling and the use of excessive force in America. http://www.ibtimes.com/alabam

It is definitely a conspiracy, as proof just after your post I read this ! Heat, drought and ISIS: Climate change as a ‘threat multiplier’The link between environmental degradation and social collapse is a well-understood phenomenon — just ask an Easter Islander — but this week saw a particularly striking illustration of how it can work in the world of today, or of the future... The Pentagon itself, not otherwise noted for its commitment to the environment, has identified climate change as a “threat multiplier” that will strain America’s defenses in the future. https://www.ya

Well said LPPT. I heard Glenn Beck saying this morning that the reason they did not immediately label this an act of terrorism is because the media is trying to protect Islamist radicals and his callers were eating it up like candy . Trying to instill any measure of calm and reason in this world has become passay the name of the game is hysteria, panic and the all popular blame game. It's the lengths that some people will go to for the sake of agenda and political power and the number of people that are so anxious to jump on the bandwagon that should make reasonable people truly paranoid.
