It wouldn't go over well at all as expected. There is no way to stop mass killings like this. If not with a gun, these crazy folks will use a truck or bomb or some other 'tool' to do the job.

I stopped readying Pubby's post when I got to "could care less" when he meant "couldn't care less". At that point, I couldn't care less what else he had to say.

You can pretty much 'print' a gun these days using a 3D printer and the technology will only get better. People determined to commit crimes will always find a way.

And lower the average IQ about 50 points.

You still can't state one single law that would have prevented this mass shooting.

Please answer a simple question: why do you think he would obey a law limiting the number of rounds while at the same time disobeying a law against killing people?

Let's say there is a law that limits the number of rounds to 6. As determined as this guy was, do you really think he would have cared about such a law? Reports are he had at least one fully automatic weapon which is already illegal. Shooting people is illegal. Do you really think a law limiting the number of rounds in a magazine to 6 would really have made a difference. This is what I really don't understand...obviously the guy had no problem breaking the law so why do people think he would have honored more gun laws?

Unfortunately short of banning and confiscating all guns, which isn't possible or constitutional, this is the world we live in now. And even if the govt did confiscate all guns, people determined to kill will find a way (trucks, bombs, etc.). There is no good answer.

Again, if someone is determined to commit a mass shooting, do you really think they are going to abide by laws regarding possession of firearms in public accommodations?

Exactly. I don't get why some people think that someone willing to commit a mass shooting would decide not to do it because there is a law saying the gun(s) he/she plans to use are illegal. It is common sense....if they are willing to shoot people then they probably don't care about breaking gun laws.

My dislike for Trump is pretty clear but if you really think sending a few tweets takes so much time that he can't spend any time on Puerto Rico then you are not using common sense. It's not like he's doing any of the real work anyway...he has whole federal departments for that. Heck, maybe he sends tweets while taking a dump.
