It doesn't. It's just his nature to be envious of those who have more than he does.

Like I said, look at the group Ansar al Islam. That was the first formation of al Qaeda in Iraq and they were there in 2001. They were targeting a group of people Saddam had no love for; the Kurds.

Exactly. Look at the emails he had sent his father how he was sympathizing with the Taliban. The note he left behind was also very telling. Before he deployed one member of his squad stated Bergdahl said if the deployment was lame, he was going to walk off and go to Pakistan. Bergdahl and his unit arrived in Afghanistan in May 2009. He deserted the following month.

Are you really sure you know what PTSD is and what the effects of PTSD are?

Check out Ansar al Islam and what they were doing in Iraq on 2001. This was the first formation of AQI..

It's over your head.

There is certainly enough evidence there to charge him with desertion and treason. He left a note saying he left and why he left. While they were out looking for him, villagers stated he had been there and was asking how to get to the Taliban. He should be charged and there should be a courts-martial to make the final determination.

I don't agree with leaving no man behind if he was captured by the enemy or fallen on the battlefield: but when he deserts for the purpose of joining the enemy that's an entirely different matter all together. The scumbag is a deserter and a traitor who should be charged and appear before a courts-martial. His time with the enemy should have no consideration for "time served" if convicted.

You do realize we are now into 2015 don't you? ISIS first started operations in Syria back in 2013. As far as operations in Iraq, they began while we were still there. They were originally the Mujahideen Shura Council. They worked closely with al Qaeda Iraq in starting and escalating the sectarian violence by bombing Shiite markets, mosques, and targeting Shiite communities.

I disagree. We were right to remove Saddam from power.

If they want to give him a less than honorable discharge, they will conduct only a Chapter 13 hearing, which determines unsuitability for military service. It cannot sentence him to 5 years of incarceration and then give him credit for time served because he was a POW. Only a courts-martial can sentenced someone to incarceration and give credit for time served. I would also have to question the authority of a courts-martial to consider time as a POW time served in a correctional facility. What it sounds like to me is they are threatening him with a courts-martial and offering him the op

You are correct. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was a member of al Qaeda Iraq and then became leader of what is now known as IS and ISIS. The US State Department put out a $10 million award for his capture in 2011. He is a Sunni as the vast majority of ISIS and al Qaeda members are. He considers himself a caliph and wants to establish an Islamic state for all Muslim countries. This ideology of his for an Islamic state goes back long before we ever invaded Iraq. He sees this as his opportunity.

In order for that to happen, he would have to be court-martialed.

I'm not saying base it on what the military may or may not think.
-
You seem to think our military leaders want to go to war just for the sake of going to war. I don't buy into that at all. They are paid to give their opinion based upon their expertise and experience.
-
You have firsthand experience with that.

Going to graduate school to get my MBA was something I've been wanting to do for quite some time. It was impossible to dedicate the time necessary for it while I was on active duty because of deployments and the job I had.

Eddie, how many MPs shot and killed somebody at any military installation over the last 10 years? Do you have any idea? Also you're comment demonstrates a lot of ignorance on your part.

I'm pretty sure once the bids are received and reviewed, the superintendent will present any cost savings to the board. I doubt the board would make a decision without having all the facts.

I'm currently in graduate school and I have a small research paper to do for a business statistics class. Attached is a copy of the survey. If you would like to participate, please feel free to complete it and email it to graduate.project.statistics@gmail.com. It's ok if you choose not to participate. Research Survey.pdf

You fought in the Civil War, didn't ya? Hell, you're still fighting it.

Your MP video is of a Marine. In the Army, you need higher line scores on the ASVAB to be an MP than a canon cocker. Being MI took even higher line scores. In the Army the MP Corps is considered the "Force of Choice" because out of every 5 soldiers who deploy to war, 1 is an MP. The MP Corps has 5 missions: Law and Order, Enemy Prisoner of War; Maneuver and Mobility Support, Area Security, which also includes Anti-Terrorism; and Police Intelligence Operations.

I found this article about him when he was hired at Cook County. He was there only one season before taking the coaching position at EPHS.

I am a God fearing man, but like the majority of God fearing men I prefer there were no wars. However, we live in an imperfect world where there will be wars and that's why I believe as a nation we should not be afraid to go to war in order to deter it. Hopefully that's simple enough for you to understand.

Where is this new coach from?
